Sometimes it has nothing to do with what you are doing. This is just what babies do.
They will be perfect for a few weeks then BAM you have a screaming clingy child on your hands. You just need to go with the flow.
Get out of the mindset that you are doing something wrong. If he doesnt sleep during the day thats fine distract him with something else look at the great job you have done getting him to sleep all night.
Try to look at the positives

Great. Dh cooked up some apple & pear for ds but despite me saying i was going to give it to him as finger food, he cut it into tiny little chunks. Not big enough for ds to hold onto & gum, but big enough for him to shove in whole & choke on. So now i have no finger food to give him & ill have to puree the apple & pear which means he wont eat any of it. There goes his lunch today.....

Purée it, and then just like you did the other day give him finger food to dip in the purée.

Ds1 I get you want to hold the cat. But let the bugger have a moment of peace!

Give him anything, flavour combos aren't important to babies. Even just cook some toast for him.

Don't worry too much about the puree, go with something like:

    Vegemite on toast
    Cucumber sticks
    Carrot sticks

My inner child cries as she hears the news they will be making a new series of Duck Tales.. If the new and improved series of other beloved 80's cartoons is anything to go off on... it's dooooomed.

Sounds exactly like our house, we just got a new kitten and with 3 kids chasing her it's a nightmare.

Noooooooo! I have the old Duck Tales on dvd and DS1 loves it. Why fix something that isn't broken?!
