The "letterhead" is sort of a watermark and would come through. So, no, for privacy reasons I do not wish to do that.
I will type it out when I get the chance, though, if you like.

Mine too, but I would let it go, if it wasn't for the fact that they are marking them down for the 'mistakes'.

That is terrible! Out of curiosity, do the notes that come home have incorrect spelling? Or are they just teaching them the wrong way?

The notes are fine. The problem is the books they are giving them to read- all have American spellings, so that's what the kids 'know'.

Why irritates me is that auto correct keeps 'correcting' my English spelling to American on my iPhone. I get tired of correcting auto correct and just leave it sometimes. It's tiring.

If you don't mind I'd be really interested, just from a teacher perspective. I can't imagine how they could justify that sort of reasoning is all...

I have this problem, too! My phone does seem to be learning and getting better at it but I've restored every back up of my phone since 2008 so it doesn't have to relearn every time I get a new phone.

My phone managed to lose all of my frequently typed words! It won't remember my kid's names, how to spell my street name, and the most infuriating of all - it has forgotten *all* of the ducking swear words (which is kinda handy if they get censored automatically ).

My phone confuses the English and American spelling but unfortunately I forget the correct spelling so I generally go with it.

Apple won't let my phone remember swear words! So annoying when you want to have a really good rant about something!
