Probably as bad as my grilled cheese on toast. Meanwhile DS had a smorgasbord.

Ds will not sleep today, who knows why. I patted him through the screaming & got half an hour out of him but thats it. And of course hubby is working back tonight yet again with no extra pay or accrued time (on a salary) so im stuck here with a horrible cranky baby who wont sleep all afternoon & then have to cope with the overtired SCREAMING this evening when im trying to get him down for the night by myself cause god knows when dh will be home. When do i get a break? Just once in a while i want to do something fun without ds but it never happens.

Edit: and now every time i turn my back for a second ds is off the mat & licking the tiled floor. I havent had a chance to mop for a while so id rather he didnt & it means i now cant take my eyes off him for a second. Its frustrating that he's moving & theres nowhere to put him cause we dont have a playpen

@heartstringz unless there is visible dirt on your floor, don't stress! The bit of germs he is getting is actually building his immune system, and as he gets older it is just going to get a lot worse. Eating food found behind a couch that has been sitting for god knows how long, wiping boogers on walls to save for later, trying pet hair, eating slugs and bugs while they sit on a lush green lawn etc etc. the list goes on and on, and just when you think they couldn't possibly top something, they do.

Canceling the kids youth tonight. My head hurts way too much to drive that far.

Thanks DF for promising me plans of some kind tonight after work. Make sure I'm home on time he says.
I get sunflowers he picked from the paddock he was working in. I can't put them anywhere because despite repeated requests for him to clean the vase he was keeping some cr@p in, he hasn't done it.
He plans to take me out but doesn't know where or to do what but I have to think of something. Then before we go, he just wants to fix the door first, then bath DS, then, then, then...
And finally we leave the house, DS screams because he's hungry and tired because it's his bed time so we turn around and come home to do nothing. We have no dinner because we were going to eat out.
And finally I'm told he's working "half" of tomorrow and "half" of Sunday. During supposed quiet time of the year.

Naw GD at least he sorta kinda tried :-(

No FOB, I am not ****ing lying to you when I tell you that I did not poison the dead ants in my bathroom. I'm busy and sleep deprived so you could forgive me when I can't remember whether or not I stepped on them. No, you aren't always ****ing right.

Don't respond with 'well ants don't die unless they've been poisoned' and then deny that you're accusing me of lying. **** you.

Oh. By the way. This is *my* house. You don't live here yet still try and control my decisions and I defer to you out of respect for your ****ed up hateful anxiety and paranoia. How about some acknowledgement and gratitude?

Glad I have a half tumbler of champagne in front of me right now.
