I need to get up and do the parent thing. But the new little kitten is all warm and snuggled on my arm.

Oh yeah baby! Daycare ALL day. The poor guy even when he came home, neither of us had any energy for him. Took all our effort to bath, feed, story and bed.
We were asleep by 730pm too!
Interesting follow up (because it's such a delightful topic!) I got to work today and 4 others have had the exact same thing in the last week. So may not be food poisoning after all!

Dh decided ds should have solids for breakfast this morning. Ds doesn't seem to associate solids as being food yet & he had slept through so was super hungry. So dh is there trying to give a crying & upset ds solids. I said 4 times that he needs to do it another time when ds is in a good mood otherwise he could create a bad association with food. Did he listen? After the 4th time i said it, when ds was screaming, he finally listened.

Now ds is super cranky & dh gets to go to work & leave me here by myself to deal with it all day. Great. Thanks a lot.

What is it with men? Why do they not listen until its too late? Oh you poor bugger, I hope your DS mood improves. Maybe after a morning nap he will forget all about this mornings antics.

Do people not read?? I have a broken toe & cant walk far at the moment & i also cant really wear shoes as it hurts. So i asked on a fb group for ideas of things to do at home with ds (& explained the situation) & someone said 'go for walks'. Umm....ok......
