Funny thing my brain does actually turned it into the right word. So my years of working out what mum was trying to say. She only went to grade three so you need that special skill.

Yep. My brain turned it to the right word too. I work and live in an area of western Sydney that has a very high immigrant population. Pigeon English are very common around here. I'm very good at interpreting what people are trying to or meant to say.

I cut up an apple for DD to snack on. She didn't want it. I didn't want to waste it. So I was stuck eating an apple I didn't really feel like.

Talk about being annoyed at the small things, today!

Note to self ... don't annoy Noms today 😆

My DS is sick - high temps and coughing. It is only week 2 of school!

"No we will not still pay you $800 CS!"

Yupp, true to form got a phone call this morning. The language and abuse was utter madness. Eventually she paused to take a breath and I asked why she was calling me. That stopped her short. I reminded her that this is an issue she needs to sort with CSA and DH, not me. I told her I will no longer answer calls from her number if that is the language I will be subjected to.

My god, you'd swear WE decided to drop CS from $800 to $500... it was the CSA on the arrival of HER tax return. Grrrr....

Why is it that when you lose something and replace it you find the first one you lost?!

I lost my good baby thermometer for work. Searched through my bag like 3 times and couldn't find it so had to use my crappy one that I don't trust (and just end up borrowing someone else's thermometer anyway). I bit the bullet and bought a new one. Tonight I find the one I "lost" in my handbag. Seriously?! I searched that pocket thoroughly. Ah well. I have a spare now...
