Yes, I agree with PP, you should be in trendelenberg position in the bed, and should not be getting up for anything, even the toilet. Gravity is not your friend in this situation. I'd say it's unlikely that they would consider placing a new stitch at this point though.

Good points. They said another stitch is unlikely but it will be revisited when I have my next scan on wed. I don't think they would put another in if they suspect an infection. Hopefully I'll find that out soon. I am on bed rest but with toilet privelidges. You are both so right though I should hardly be moving at all. Gonna get onto that right now.

Thanks for thinking of me. My night was terrible. Bad contractions, bleeding and then I did rupture membranes at around 2 am. They checked bub this morning and confirmed now all the fluid is gone. The one grace was that once the waters went the contractions stopped. But now they are starting again. Everyone keeps giving me a ray of hope and I just have to hang onto that

Thanks to everyone for the support. My beautiful baby boy was born yesterday at 8:15 pm and left my arms to go to heaven at 9:15 pm. He was 24 weeks and two days old. Words cannot describe my grief right now.

I'm so sorry for your loss. We lost our DD2 at 20 weeks last year due to
PPROM, it's something no one should ever have to experience in life. The grief and devastation I felt was inexplainable.

Take the time to spend as much time as you need with your beautiful baby, take photos and grieve for him and yourself as much as you need. It took me a long time before I felt even a little bit ok after we lost our DD2.

    Big hugs to you.
