@lauzie if you decide to try some supplements, I recommend you research vitex. I know a lot of women whose cycles have improved using it, including me
Mine were all over the place when I finished breastfeeding, but the first month I used vitex and every month after has been spot on 28 days.
Obviously everyone is different and you might decide it's not for you, but I would definitely suggest having a bit of a read
    Good luck!

One of the girls at work announced that she's 6 weeks pregnant today (ballsy I though), given it's not past the 12 week mark. But so happy for her. She was trying for four months and I asked her about it etc because she's the same age as me. She said she started taking Progestalift by Orthoplex this month, so she's not sure if that helped her conceive or if it was meant to be. We sell practitioner vitamins like that at work. So, I said if I don't get utd this month, I'm taking that hahah
Progesterone is interesting as I just read up about it and could be worth a go ladies:
    What Does Progesterone Do?
    • Progesterone maintains the lining of the uterus which makes it possible for a fertilized egg to attach and survive
    • Makes cervical mucous accessible by sperm
    • Allows the embryo to survive
    • Prevents immune rejection of the developing baby
    • Allows for full development of the fetus through pregnancy
    • Helps the body use fat for energy during pregnancy
    • Prevents secondary sexual development
    • Increases libido around ovulation
    • Activates osteoblasts to increase new bone formation
    • Protects against endometrial, breast, ovarian and prostate cancer
    • Normalizes blood clotting

Thanks @octonaut, I had never heard of vitex before. I just did a google and it sounds great, it is definitely worth giving a shot. Is there a particular brand that you recommend over another?

Haha @clucky_duck, I just googled progestalift, it's main ingredient is Chaste Tree, which is another name for vitex. Right on

I just use the Blackmore's one, and that's only because it was the easiest one to find on eBay. The bottle says to take 1 tablet, 3 times per day, but I take 2 in the morning. Just a bit of reading that I did suggested that might be better than 3 all spaced out. Some women only take them until O and then stop until the end of their cycle, but I take mine every day. It seems like it has the effect of smoothing out or regulating hormone production, so I wouldn't want to stop and start, personally. I hope it works for you!

Ahhh interesting! Chaste Tree seems to be a wonder herb for fertility! Also maca is meant to be really good. I have been putting it into my smoothies.
