I'm half way through the wolf gift and finding that I'm not enjoying this story as much as I did. The character annoys me and some parts of the story have me rolling my eyes but I hate not finishing a book. Has anyone else read this?

I've decided I don't actually "like" Love Song. It's beautifully written and it still gives me shivers. But it's not a nice story. Maybe I've gone soft in my old age!

I'm heading out shopping today to pick up The Wife Drought - Annabel Crabb.

Slightly off topic sorry OP but out of interest who still buys hard copy books and who downloads them?

I much prefer to read a hard copy book, I feel like I get more involved in the story, but for convenience I usually download on my iPad, unless I go to the library and borrow a book.

Doesn't bother me if there's other book related discussion 👍

I prefer actual books! It doesn't feel like I'm reading if I'm reading a book on my phone. If that makes sense lol. I like to hold the book and feel the pages and the smells.

I love the smell of a new book! My DH thinks I weird. He can't understand why I won't get a Kindle, or just read on my iPad. And TBH if we were doing a big overseas trip or something then I probably would download a heap of stuff to read, but I much prefer the printed word, turning the pages...I'm old school.

I've just started reading The Narrow Road to the Deep North by Richard Flanagan.
