Default What have you been sucked into buying from TV

So I'm watching a shopping channel on foxtel and they're advertising the nutribullet and I actually already saw it on the Channel 9 morning show earlier.

I've got to say in tempted to buy it.

But I have to question if a. It's going to work as well as they say it does and b. Will I actually use it? I'm not sure.

Going on past experience I think I shouldn't buy it. Here's what I've been sucked into buying from TV and the outcome:

Nude By Nature - Waste of Money! It didn't do what the TV said it would.

Thin Lizzie - was a good product but not as good as what the TV says

Steam iron (the one you get on a post and it looks like a vacuum - you're meant to just sweep the head down the clothes and it irons them) but nope - did absolutely bugger all.

Outdoor LED sensor light - I love it! It was cheap and it works well to light up the front porch when we get home in the dark.

So 3 fails and 1 win.

So what else has everyone been sucked into buying from TV and was it worth it?

I haven't bought anything. But I often watch and think 'I NEED that product!'

Which is exactly why I don't own credit card. Hahaha

I bought some car wash that's meant to make your paint job look new....I never received it.
I bought the flyscreen that you walk through like a curtain and it closes behind you with magnets...that was a good buy.
And some singlets that suck in all the fat lol, they were ok but the sizing wasn't right.

Nothing off tv but got sucked into trim down green mango? pills or some crap on the internet. Cost me $70 odd and did nothing but give me awful bowel movements. Threw them in the bin. What a waste, never again.

I bought a shark steam pocket mop which also came with the hand-held steamer. I love it. The steam mop does wonders for refreshing carpets, and the hand-held steamer gets all the gunk and mould out of all the cracks and crevices in the bathroom and kitchen. I've used the upholstery steamer attachment on mattresses, the couch and curtains with fantastic results.

That said, there is a lot of crap sold via TV shopping. I recommend looking extensively at online reviews, there are always heaps.

There are heaps of those magic bullet type products around at the moment - the latest Big W catalogue has 3 different types on special. If you're not sure if you'll use it, you can get them for under $50 and then if you find you use it a lot you can always upgrade to a higher quality brand.

EUROBED! Sorry for shouting but I'm so close to buying it! I also want to buy a 4 wheeler to ride over it like they do on the advertisement to prove how tough it is!
