Default Sydney new mum-to-be : Choosing hospital and obstetrician

I'm 37 years old and going to be a first time mum in late July 2015.
I'm currently at wk 6 and very excited and at the same time very new to everything!
Today, I've spent the whole day searching for hospitals and obstetricians.
There were a lot of things to consider and learnt that this was the time to book in with an obstetrician as I'm told they can get booked out quickly.
It started quite overwhelmingly with all the choices of obstetricians to choose from.
I had already decided to go with a private hospital and by about two hours in to researching shortlisted to two hospital choices: North Shore Private or The San.
    Next was finding the obstetrician.
I've read as many reviews online as possible.
And asked for advice from my sister-in-law who had given birth at the San last year.
At the moment my hubby and I have only shared our pregnancy news with family only, so we couldn't extend our research to network of friends...
Based on what I read online, I was able to shortlist to three doctors:
    1. Dr Peter Wood @ The San
    2. Dr Andrew Booker @ The San
    3. Dr Michael Van Der Griend @ NSP
If anyone has any experiences with any of these three doctors.
And if you have any info regarding their fees, it would be much appreciated.
I'm planning on calling their offices to enquire further, but thought it would be nice to get some recent testimonials to go by.
Many thanks and good luck to all the other mums-to-be x
