    Default Recurrent chemical pregnancies/miscarriage

After just undergoing our 8th IVF cycle and bloods coming back showing HCG but not looking viable for the fifth time, does anyone have any recommendations on what to do next?

Is there any specialist who is a whiz in this area?
Is it worth an appointment with the recurrent miscarriage centre at the Royal Women's?

It's so hard to give up if I don't feel like I've tried everything.

    TIA

Appy, have you had any tests at all to investigate the cause of your recurrent losses? There are certainly many reasons that can be identified and treated. I will PM you the details of my FS.

Yes get some more tests done. You may have natural high killer cells for example. You could also consider an endometrial scratch which helps implantation by an incredible amount. Where are you? If you are in Brisbane then you need to see Dr WArren De AMbrosis. His waiting list is long but if you get on his cancellation list the wait time is often massively reduced

    Thanks guys. I'm in Melbourne.
I have had d&cs as well as scratches in the past 5 cycles - all have had some sign of implantation. last cycle I did an immune protocol with intralipid prednisolone doxycycline clexane.
I have a hyperactive immune system according to dr Gamal matthias, as well as heterozygous for mthfr and factor v Leiden. My oh has had a vasectomy.

    Just feeling quite devastated.

I just PM'd you but it sounds like you've already had more investigations than I anticipated so my message may not help. Dr M is supposedly a guru for these things!

Has your DH had a test for DNA fragmentation of his sperm?

If it was just your first try with an immune protocol it could have just been bad luck?

Surprisingly no sperm testing and no amh testing has ever been done on us.

I have used clexane/prednisolone for the past three cycles but this was the first for intralipid

When did you start the clexane and steroids in your cycle?
