@kiki1 - Congratulations on your little man, so exciting you can now start the shopping lol! Don't feel guilty hun we are all human and these feelings are natural, you won't have it any other way anyway when you meet your little man he will be just perfect. How many weeks are you now hun and when do you plan on sharing your news? Can you believe my cousin didn't want to find out the sex of bub but his wife did so she had it wrote on a piece of paper at the scan. She then told her mum and sister and they all went out buying girls clothes and hiding them in the nursery and he says he still never knew until his daughters arrival - now I think that would kill me.
@Excited - Nice to hear from you hun, wow 35 weeks you are doing so well what an amazing mama! Hope the phenergn helps you get some sleep hun you must be so drained from those contractions.
@allykat111- Good luck for tomorrow hun, how are you feeling have you POAS?

AFM - I know you ladies are all right slow and steady is the way just hoping for more action on Monday. I rang for my bt results yesterday and it seems my LH has dropped so I now need to add in some LH injections (I am going to be all injected out at the end of this cycle lol). I have never added this into the mix even though nurses have commented how suppressed my LH seems to be so I am pleased some action is being taken. Only thing is I had left the city and the chemist under Wazza's rooms is the only place that stock the med luckily DH is in the city today for work, I nearly had a mini melt down yesterday wondering how I was going to get it.

So I need some suggestions. I have my SIL baby shower in Saturday. I have no idea what to get unless I just get a standard jump suit or blanket???

I found those all in one sleep suit things a god send for DD we use to call it her worm suit and she wiggled around it but she felt cosy and her arms and legs were all tucked in. Other than that how about linking a present with her nursery theme either decorations for the room or blanket or something?

@Heyside I'm 11w4d. No way could have done what your cousin did arghh. I have no idea if/when to share.. help!
How lucky that DH was in city. Even though it's another injection, like you said it's the first time somethings being done about the low LH & this might just be the icing on the uterus cake ha! What's one more injection when you're rattling and jabbing as you are
@allykat111 Love Heyside's idea as it's super practical & cute.

@kiki1 - wow hun not long to go until your in the second trimester it is hard to decide when to share but all I can say is it has to be right for you and you have to be comfortable with it. Your right about the injections I am glad something is being done about it and may as well throw another into the mix.

@allykat111- Hope you managed to sort something for the baby shower hun, how are you going did you get your results?

AFM - Going a little crazy waiting for tomorrow's scan, not use to having to wait so long in between scans but it made sense with nothing happening last Wednesday. I am feeling more now my ovaries just feel very achey so hoping that's a good sign.

Unfortunately my beta was negative. Was our last emby. Going to have a break as can't get in to see FS until 1dec then Xmas is here. Maybe later next year I'll think about it. The baby showers was a little hard to go to as its well known the pregnancy was a whoopsie.

Oh hun so sorry to read that how frustrating this journey is so hard. I can imagine the baby shower must have been difficult. Take some time for yourself hun, think you deserve a treat of some sort and time out. Big hugs x x

Allykat I'm so sorry it was a bfn this time, it's so not fair. I hope you can somehow find some peace with your enforced break and keep nice and distracted and busy over the next couple of months 😟 Big big hugs Xx

Eeek Excited! Not long now Hun, you are a super-star for having put up with everything for so long! Nearly there now, your on the homeward stretch until bubba-time! Surely this should mean that you get a happy baby who loves to sleep during the night and feeds perfectly!! It's only fair right?! Keep us up to date, best of luck Hun Xx

Kiki, yay congratulations on your lil man on the way 💙 I surprised myself with being a teeny bit sad that I wouldn't have another girl but from the moment he was here I realise just how lucky I am, little boys rock! Definitely one of things where you end up thrilled with whatever you get in the end. My hubby reeeally wanted a boy (though he adores our dd) so I do understand xx
Yes I did find out both times.....I found out earlier than my DH second time around as he didn't want to know until he was certain we weren't going to have another loss. Watching "announcing videos" was my secret little torturous pleasure when I was TTC my dd. We ended up telling family who were all over our house for our "wedding anniversary dinner" which was really our announcement dinner. We lined all the family up for a big group photo and my hubby set up the tripod like as if he was going to do a timed shot and then said "after three, everyone say.....Ladydee's pregnant!" And the whole time the camera was actually on video-mode so we've got this fantastic video of all of the family one by one realising what was happening! It's awesome 😂 My mom even said "Ladydee's pregnant" and stood there smiling at the camera while everyone else was starting to look at each other shocked. 😂😂 After they were all hugging and congratulating us and stuff, we even captured my MIL doing a little clap and dance in the background by herself around our outdoor fire-pit! Lol, freak'n hilarious. Are you still having your Nuchal scan? It's so awesome seeing Bub in such better detail for the first time

Heyside, sorry there wasn't much going on for your first scan but I'm excited that you're feeling some action now! Eeek, I'll be eagerly awaiting your results from tomorrow's scan! So wait a minute.....reading back on your previous posts.....did I read right that you have to now add in LH shots?! That's what you're usually too high in isn't it? Or are you usually low in LH and I'm confused? Wow, how did they overcome that? What did WDA end up saying about Viagra? Didn't think it was best for you?? I'm glad you liked the other female Dr but I'm sorry they don't seem as personable as your old clinic.....I'm still hoping that this is your last TTC cycle and you can re-join your previous specialist if you choose him as your Ob! ✨✨✨✨

AFM- Holiday away for my MIL's 60th was great. Stayed at a gorgeous apartment right on the beach....love falling asleep to the sound of the ocean ☺️ Some whales put on a bit of a show for us one afternoon too 🐋🐳. My dd's kindy play date was a success! She loved it and kept asking to go again so hopefully she remembers that up until when she starts there next year. They have an open door policy so I might take her in for an hour or so once more right towards the end of the year. I sure hope we're making the right decision in moving her....😓

@Ladydee - wow hun I have to say I love the way you announced that you were pregnant with DD and what a special memory to look back on with the video. Have to say I have tortured myself with the YouTube clips of pregnancy announcements, hoping one day soon we can plan our own. Great to hear you had an amazing holiday don't you just love precious family time. Sounds like your DD had a great time at kindy, I hope all goes well with her transition and she has a fabulous time just like our DD has, we are so happy we moved her.

As for my LH yes its very confusing, on my OI cycles my LH always has been high but on discussion with my nurse at the old clinic she said it seems on an IVF cycle where my system is suppressed before we start then for some reason my LH always stay very low. Nothing was done about this though in the past but happy to say its been dealt with this time . Viagra wasn't mentioned this time but I did explain to WDA that my lining only ever seems to be an issue on an FET cycle and in the past it has reached 10mm in an IVF cycle, he said this is sometimes the case and women can respond well to natural estrogen from the follicles but not so much to an estrogen supplement. For that reason I am really hoping that I make it to transfer and don't have to freeze them all. Have to say going to an early appointment this morning was good, the clinic wasn't as busy and things were a little more chilled out which was good.

AFM - We stayed over in the city last night for our 5.30 appointment and I am actually home now can't believe it's actually only 8.30. My scan today showed lots and lots of action, around 20 follies measuring between 12 and 16. Charlotte would like me to keep on injecting and see her again on Wednesday with a possible EPU on Friday. This makes me happy as my last clinic would have got worried at this point and triggered even though some of those follies are still just too small. All going well with me we are hopefully still aiming for a transfer fingers crossed.
