Hi ladies! Just a quick post to let you all know that Nova Emily arrived on the 4th of June at 5:38pm at 40+6 weeks! Hubby and I are totally smitten with our new addition (even though she's not letting me sleep much yet). Induced vaginal labour and I did have an epidural and an episiotomy. Waiting anxiously to go home from hospital and start our new life

@allykat111 - geez, that does all sound expensive, it all adds up huh?! If you guys are really struggling, have a chat with your clinic, I've heard of ladies doing that and getting a discount. x

Allykat - gosh hun how frustrating abiut them charging you twice over, something I wouldn't have thought about either. Is there anyway you can talk to them about it and see if you can have a discount? I had the same situation with having to do a frozen cycle and paying extra it really frustrated Dh as in theory we had paid for the transfer procedure twice over once in the ivf cycle and once in the fet cycle.

Karmajane - such amazing news to come on here and read. Congratulations on the birth of Nova Emily so happy for you, enjoy this special time together as a new family .

Allykat - Did you ask about the fact they charged you twice over? Hope you came to some sort of arrangement.

AFM - Went in for my extra scan before af today to see what my lining was, it seemed to measuring around 5-6mm which wasn't overly thick. I now take my last pill tonight and will wait for af and then plan for another scan after af to compare thickness it should be below 4mm hopefully. If so my next cycle will start and I can begin my HRT and prepare for hopefully my lucky last embie.

Good luck with your scans heyside all the best. I'm thinking I must of had an excellent lining as AF is so heavy, last time I recall being this heavy was after my daughters birth. I'm presuming this is normal due to all the extra hormones I injected and the amount of eggs I got.
I haven't spoken to the finance yet, think I won't really worry about it. We're lucky that we technically saved $2000 as they bulk billed both DPS TESA & TESE. I also got the invoice for the ICSI cycle and it turns out I was only charged 50% of what they use to charge. They bulk bill half the cycle to make it more affordable for people. Just hoping as I blew my safety net out the water I'll get a good rebate back.

Hi everyone it's been very quiet in here recently how is everyone?

CD1 for me today so will wait until af has gone and then I will have another scan later in the week to see what is happening with my lining. Hopefully I get good news but will feel reassured all is OK and can move onto my hrt drugs ready for next get.
