Oh now that's a hard decision Twinkley and has to be the right decision for you and your DH. I personally would go for the two if I was given the choice at this stage now (don't think my clinic likes to put two back though, think they may do it on the odd occasion for women over the age of 35). I think I have waited long enough now and would take the extra chance if I was given it. Would you be ok with having twins as an outcome though that is the real question? I think twins would complete our family and make us content and never have to go through all this again (two for the price of 1), plus due to the age gap now between bub and DD I may be able to handle 2 with her starting kindy and eventually school (now that's scary to think of). There is also the fact the twin pregnancies are higher risk though too - decision decisions lol!

Wowwww so much exciting action going on in this thread! Heyside what brilliant numbers, that is awesome!

Twinkley sorry to hear you only got 2 but remember it only takes one Im the same as heyside, i would love twins, but the higher risk does concern me a little.... plus I have a pretty bad back so might take its toll on me!

I will catch up properly on everyone elses progress soon but I hope your cycles are travelling well and there are lots of xmas surprises to come!

Afm - I am back in the game. day 6 of provera and picked up my drugs this morning ready to go! Was feeling pretty good and ready to start again but I got my dnc results back on Monday which has thrown be back a bit... I got told it was a little girl with a chromosome error (turners syndrome). Im glad to know it was nothing I did or could have done but I had absolutely no idea that I would find out the sex so it was a bit of a shock and have been a little emotional this week and feeling strange...Im sure it will give me a bit more closure with time! Trying so hard to get myself back into a relaxed state ready to start jabbing next week!!

Quick update from me will be back tomorrow night to do some personals.

Officially PUPO with 2 grade 4 embryos onboard now let the TTW begin hope it goes fast. I think BT will be 26 December hopefully a nice BFP Xmas pressing. Has anyone else taken pregnyl I'm on two shots this time one tomorrow and one Monday how long after can I POAS and not get a false positive?

Also the pregnyl shot looks complicated is it? I'm scared will get it wrong.

Woo! @Twinkley we are now both on the same TWW I find out on the 27th December.
I take pregnyl, I had my trigger yesterday and then my next one is on saturday and then another 2 more after that 3 days apart.
I found with pregnyl it depends how well your body metabolizes the pregnyl. With my last cycle I had my last shot on a Sunday of 1500 and my big test was on a Thursday and I had a HCG count of 12 which was the remnants of the pregnyl.
Good luck hun and I hope you get your bfp too. Xx

Oh and it's actually easy. The liquid goes into the powder then you suck up that with the syringe and then inject with the small needle not the large mofo mixing needle haha now that would hurt

    Default Injections Support Thread #4

Wishing you the best of luck for your scan on Friday @MrsWookie. No, I don't think I have ever got the runs from injections but I wouldn't be surprised if you did....your body might just need to get used to the extra hit of hormones?? Only my Metformin ever gives me that fun side affect sometimes, depending in what I've eaten x
@thatwldbme - BFP test....ha! I love it I've been told by my clinic that follies grow approx 2mm per day so yep, they'd keep growing until the big O day. Does the Pregnyl give you pregnancy symptoms? I was fully expecting it to but it didn't?? How many days post last Pregnyl shot do you go for your bloods Hun? My new specialist told me I had to wait at least 7 days post last Pregnyl shot....it has felt like an eternity!!! Congrats on reaching the TWW, I'm wishing you BFP success this cycle xx
@Heyside - how have you been feeling? I hope your belly has been getting better and better. How are your embies going, have you been getting calls? Did I work it out that tomorrow is day 5? With the Oest result, I meant that I just remember that you were surprised that it was on the lower side compared to the quantity of eggs you got but with how you were feeling in the days afterwards, I had a feeling that your level probably did go up quite a bit from when you were last tested up to EPU to a more "makes sense" level I really hope to hear a great frosty announcement from you very soon! Xxx

Yay, @RD15 for getting back into the swing of things! How was Bali ? Oh Hun, I'm so sorry to hear your news on your little angel Our second one was trisomy 13......it's a weird feeling. Nothing will take away the sadness but I guess it helped us come to terms with why we suffered our loss and take away the guilts that try to creep in I will ask about the sex one day but haven't yet. I was planning to when I was pregnant again but I haven't reached a stage of asking yet. My DH doesn't want to know but has no qualms about me finding out. Add me to your cheer team for this cycle Hun Xxx

AFM - well, tomorrow is blood test day for me! I'm now pretty sure it probably is a BFP but now the real challenge begins of trying to keep it! Looking back on my past two years, I really can't believe that that is "my story" and I really hope this is it and we finally get to cuddle this little one alive, healthy, full term and happy in our arms. A nice strong hCG level would go such a long way in reassuring us that we can let ourselves get a little attached to this one so that is my first wish after a BFP....

@Twinkley- I think your username is a sign I YouTubed how to mix Pregnyl for a refresher just before doing my first one.....there are great easy- to -follow instructions on there.

Wow Ladydee- just flew in for a second while at work- those lines look absolutely awesome! Xxx

AFM- my BFP (I like that thatwldbme!) is planned for the 22nd. I am trying to keep myself busy (easy at this time of year!) in the mean time and not think about it too much. The pregesterone pessaries are.... interesting.

    Xx

hahaha im glad everyone likes the "BFP blood test" term hehe. makes me feel ultra positive when I say it like that.

OMG @ladydee you have guts taking those tests, I could not do that, haha I do wonder if I should. I have absolutely everything crossed for you for your BFP blood test today.
