    Default Babys at your wedding?

As some of you might remember, my DF proposed to me a few weeks ago. We then found out a week later that i am preg! Yay but eeep. We have already booked a venue and bubs will be 3.5 months by then. We are trying to decide whether to change the booking. I am worried that i wont feel my best, and i will be stressed planning it while trying to get used to being a little family!

Did any of you get married with your young children/babies there? What age were they and how did it turn out? Any advice would be appreciated!

Not me personally, but a girlfriend of mine got married when she was about 6/7 months pregnant and also had her toddler there. They set up a little porta cot back near the bridal table for him and all the family was there to help so the bride and groom didn't have to see to him often.

She had a few sips of champagne at one toast and that was it. She had a really good day/night!

We got married last year. I was 18 weeks pregnant and had our 9 month old baby there. We had a very small wedding at home with immediate family only so not sure I can be much help.

I didn't get married but had my best friends wedding when my DD was 3 months old.

We took her with us, we had to because it was interstate. She slept in her pram in another room (there was accommodation on site which the bridal party had booked so we used one of those rooms). The property was actually a house (where the wedding was) and five bungalows so it worked well as she was close by but not in the action. Between DH my mum and dad and I we all checked her every 20/30 mins but she slept beautifully!

Had we had to keep her with us, she definitely wouldn't have slept and been a pain, I believe. If I had the option, I would have had someone come and take her so we could enjoy the night, and I could have ducked back to feed her or settle her if needs be.

I felt pretty good, but not my best - that's for sure! Had lost my baby weight but still felt a little thick around the waist and hips, to be honest. But, everyone bounces back differently so it's a bit hard to tell.....

I haven't been in your situation but I know when I had a 3.5 month old my whole mind and body was consumed by the baby. I think it would be nice to have a bit of time between being a new mum and a bride. Just my 2 cents.

My son was 8 months but we had a very causal wedding and it was just perfect having him there. I think around 5 months is the earliest I would have felt like a wedding.

DS will be 12 months when we get married.
We're having a morning wedding followed by lunch. Very casual and all about family. There will be at least 6 other kids there.
We decided lunch was the best option for us because of all the kids.

DD was 2 at our wedding. She had a nap between the ceremony & reception & went on to party on the dancefloor til 11pm. She loved it
