    Yay J is home
Krisit, Dr M will give your your protocol that you follow, you don't even need to consult with your f/s about it, I secretly think that the one who don't believe, it's because they can't get their heads around it, you see plenty of women on the forums have round after round ofmd/em and nothing works, they then go on an immune protocol and hey presto they get pregnant !

Just board hopping - I read your blog and really there is no need to go back to your current FS - just move to Nick Logatis and do a phone consult with Dr M. Save yourself that $250 consult fee with your current FS ask his office to send you a copy of your file and copy and send it on to Dr M put that $250 towards a specialist who will support you.

Glad to hear J is home Stacey.

hi everyone. Hope you are all well.

kristi, it's hard deciding whether to change your ob. The one I had last year, who was fantastic and I would highly recommend, I decided not to go back to this time as he is not a FS and I decided I needed a FS on board as well as Dr M. I chose another based on a friends recommendations. He is still on the fence re Nkc but is not against and happy to work with me and dr M. He also understands it all. He has done research and it shows. The reason he is on the fence is because he said for every bit of research that says it works, there's just as much to say it has no impact. My logic was it won't hurt so let's throw all at it. I'd look at changing FS if yours is not willing to at least support you while you have other treatments.

    Hi ladies,

meant to post last night, but had severe cramps, took tramadol, didn't quite work, so topped up with Panadeine, and **crash** practically didn't make it to the bed before I fell asleep. Woke up this morning in yesterday's clothes.....didn't even brush my teeth or wash my face.

Anyway, I did see our FS, and got the most pleasant surprise: he asked how it went, I said it failed, and that I wanted testing. He didn't hesitate! He started talking about repeated implantation failure and how there's a link with immune issues blah blah blah. He rattled off a list of tests, I whipped out MY list. Pretty much the only thing not on mine was the testing for celiac. Didn't realise you could be asymptomatic or "silent". Fine test me for that too. i was truly not expecting that result. I was expecting to either have to fight tooth and nail to get what I wanted, or fire him and go to Lolatgis.

I really love my FSs bedside manner. He is the only doctor I've ever seen that hasn't talked down to me or made me feel like a piece of sh**. Not sure when he started believing in NKCs, but......doesn't matter. If he does now he does. I can't get back the time lost no matter if I stay with him or switch, so if he's going to do what I need him to do, then I'm happy to stick with him (he didn't charge me for my appointment yesterday either! Bonus . I will still be keeping Dr M in my pocket though.

I did did my bloods yesterday, and should start getting results back next week. Some of the genetics ones will take bit longer. Fine. I'm practicing my patience so this is a good exercise for that.

Also, I finally started bleeding in the night, so today is CD1, and I have an endometrial biopsy schedule for Fri, 16 Oct. I like having things scheduled. It makes me feel secure having a bit of structure. Having appointments I can tick off a list, even if just acupuncture, make me feel like I'm progressing. I don't do that limbo-like waiting very well. I spend too much time in my head. Never a good thing as the fears and doubts live there and they're not very nice to me! Hahaha

at this stage I'm telling myself I'll be back in Zlin in 2016.....and that's as far as I'm going with it. I have no idea how long it will take to figure out what's wrong with me, and then get it under control, so no point in even looking at time frames. I'll just stress if I "pick" a time and then it starts looking unlikely to happen because of timing or money issues. Easier to organise with frosties; not as much lead time needed as no synching of cycles and what not.

I am glad thIngs worked out Kristi. It's good to have things scheduled, you feel a bit more in control and that you are doing something. Good luck with all the tests. Celiac is not something I was tested for? Can you give me some info on that one?

I emailed Zlin, again, about whether we go with the injection or not. I have to make the final decision this week. And the advice was stick with the injection, there is no impact on success rate, it is just they don't use it for frozen because of the cost. So I feel better about that now. I also made arrangements to get hubby to do a sperm sample and freeze while there this year. Just in case. We can't keep affording these trips to Europe. If not successful this time I will go back on my own for treatment only next time. I am not ready yet to say this is our last attempt.

Hi ladies hope everyone is well.
Kristi I'm really sorry to hear about your recent trip to zlin but gals to hear your FS is on board with immune testing , lots of ppl have a successful cycle once they have immune issues under control. Stacy , it must be a relief that your boy is healthy and back home 😉
Deb not long to go now , hope it all goes well.
Hfam any news ? When is your scan ? Really wane know if you are having twins
AFM almost 36 weeks, had a scan on Monday all seem to be fine 2.5 and 2.8 kg boys are cramped in such a small space. My ob booked me for c-section on 1st of October . Which makes me 38 weeks , still not sure if I can make it that far but will see.

    Hi everyone

Kristi, I'm glad that everything worked out with your fs and that you started the ball rolling with the tests.

AMFM, 36 weeks, so exciting. I'm glad that the babies are doing fine. I bet you can't wait to meet them.

    Hi to everyone else.

AFM, I'm not that good. Had a huge scare yesterday with some bright red bleeding. Went straight to my Gp to have the progesterone injection and then home. I'm in bed since then, bleeding stopped right away. I was happy it stopped and I don't have any pain or cramps, but now I was thinking what if I'm just prolonging the inevitable by pumping in so much progesterone. Do you think it's possible that the only reason it didn't continue is because I use so much progesterone? I know I should stop worrying and wait for the scan. I have the form for the scan, but I decided to wait until Monday when I have my appointment with my Ob. I was thinking there is no point having one tmr or Friday and another one on Monday. I was afraid it will irritate the cervix or something like that or maybe I'm too scared to know what's happening.

Kristi Makes things a heck of a lot easier now
Deb glad you've made a decision on the jab
Amfm, Whoo definitely not long to go now You've done a fantastic job!!
Hfam it's not easy when you have a bleed but you need to try and stay positive lots of ladies have massive bleeds with clots and still have viable pregnancies, your not cramping so that's good, just keep yourself hydrated and rest, I'm sure everything is fine

Thanks Stacey. You always have some words of encouragement for us 😊. I'll probably take tmr off as well, take it easy and try to think positive.

HFAM sorry to hear you had a scare. I know how it feels after my experience last year. Hang in there and take Stacey's advice. While on bed rest last year I did lots of googling, way too much. But one thing that was common was bleeding and pregnancy continuing so try not to worry too much and rest. Good luck for your scan Monday.
