Can anyone tell me how many eggs were retrieved and fertilized. They retrieved 8 yesterday and only 5 fertilized today. We have 4 more days before transfer. That seems low to me. Can anyone else share there experience. Thank you.

Klh I had 10 retrieved and 10 fertilised, I would say what you have is pretty standard, zlin try for between 6-8 mature eggs, often up to 12 are retrieved, with a guarantee of 2 x 5 day blasts, some get frosties, some don't . I was lucky enough to get 2 grade 1 frosties as well. I would definitely expect a couple to drop off by day 5, it's all just a roll of the dice really, but fingers crossed that your 5 keep growing strongly

We got 11 eggs, 9 fertilised 3 grade 1 and a grade 2 so we were lucky with 2 frosties.

Klh we got 13 eggs all fertilised , at the end we had 4x grade 1 and 1x grade 2 so now have 3 frosties , I know you are probably worried I was the same I was panicky in every step of the way , Stacey and Deb can confirm that 😬 but zlin really knows their stuff and even if you don't get frosties you hopefully won't need them anyway . Try to relax as much as possible and all the best. Sending hugs and kisses your way

Amfm, no you shouldn't have any spotting to do with weaning off the meds, by 12 wks the babies are using their placenta's, so they are fully functioning and will keep the pregnancy going
Chillout, only Klh has gone somewhere different so you will need to go on each clinics website and research how much, success rates, what they do/don't include in their costs etc

Today was transfer day and we had four great embryos! Yay. We transferred two...one was hatching.

my new blog is up if you're interested: [link removed by Admin - please don't link to your blog on the forum]

chillout, I'm an oddball on this site. I was originally planning on Zlin, but ended up at PFC. They are both amazing clinics and my correspondence with Zlin was great. You cannot go wrong. The PFC guarantee is that they guarantee two fresh and two frozen and the third is free. You pay more for it, but we really wanted the guarantee so we could guarantee the frozen ones. I also just preferred to stay in Prague.

you'll be fine no matter where you end up. I have also heard great things about Reprogen, Gennett (longer wait), and IvF cube. I personally did not have a good experience when corresponding with Gynem but others were happy. Good luck.

KH how have you found PFC? I'm also attracted to them in terms of location and guarantee. Also interested in Gynem and Reprofit, did you look into them at all? Gennet waiting list is 8-12 months, not sure why but I can't wait that long!
Also for those who chose Zlin, was that driven initially by independent stats / research, or by the very understandable reason that it is tried and tested by many on this site (hence great in terms of support)?

Klh Good luck congrats on being pupo Are you planning on testing you hcg shot out ?
Chillout, I'm also on four other fertility sites/forums and had heard about zlin, but I had already paid a deposit and booked flights to Greece so had to go through that clinic and as soon as I found out that it hadn't worked I booked in with zlin, everyone I knew who handsome had gotten pregnant, I was so bummed I hadn't found out about the clinic sooner, I joined up here after I'd been, I think I was about 3 mths pregnant and came on here to help others go through the process
