She does, but I've always fed to sleep. Who knows if she could settle without the swaddle and without being bf! I certainly won't be testing that anytime soon.

I forgot to mention the snuggle blanket (aka benny the night night bunny 😛) worked really well. It took her few days to show any interest in him but she holds onto it all night now. I'm so grateful for the suggestion and would definitely recommend it to anyone when they stop swaddling!

I can't quite bring myself believe it's going to stay like this. I'd hate for it to turn out the last two nights were a fluke!

Thats really good, you can get her down after feeding.
Im loving the snuggly blanket too, dd only has it at bedtime and she looks for it of I don't give it to her straight away.. its a bit cute
Hopefully its not a fluke and she is just used to the no swaddling

Little man is 8 months and only last week I stopped ( well he stopped), he just kept rolling and trying to get out. I left it up to him to let me know. My other kids were out of being swaddled around 3 months but this baby loves it ( I do swaddle sometimes to calm him).

I'm joining! Been swaddling dd with 1 arm out for almost a week now, and have introduced a comforter. Seems to be working well so far.

Well, tried a swaddle free nap as this just happened last nap

    ImageUploadedByThe Bub Hub1418961529.614529.jpg

After 10 minutes I gave up and put him in 50/50 with a comforter blankie in his hand. 20 minutes later, success! Let's see how long this lasts as he has had crappy sleeps all day. Damn sleep regression! But this is *definitely* progress as I've never gotten him to sleep in a 50/50 before!

We lasted an hour! He stirred twice but dosed back off but that was definitely better then last try. We are back to fully swaddled for bed now but will be trying again tomorrow for day naps. Thanks ladies!
