    And on an even happier note, he's been putting his own dummy back in if its in reach! I might actually start getting rest in the near future! Im actually starting to feel human again 8 months later!

    So I went in to DD earlier and she'd rolled onto her side trying to go completely over! So we've started the one arm out thing again! She has got her other arm out and ive had to only go in once so far... heres hoping she sleeps this time

    I had to go in 3 times, I didn't re-swaddle her just popped her dummy in so she did quite well.. she's back in bed with 1 arm out now, taking a while to settle but I think ill just keep persevering merry christmas xox

    That's great! Yep. We are def one arm now. I've even packed away the full swaddle. Can't see DS ever needing it again. I'm expecting to be 2 arms out in a few days. Will wait for silly season to be over and when thing quieten down we will try that.

    I think if they show that they are ready then it will be easy. Like I said, the first time he just flailed his free arm around and wouldn't sleep. I waited a few weeks and tried again, same problem. Few more weeks and he was totally ready. I'm sure your Dd will be exactly the same

    Seems to be going ok so far... im finding when she's overtired I need to put both arms in, if I get her at the right time she's fine with 1 arm out
