Question Just referred to Kate Stern, has anyone else seen her?

My gyne has just referred me to Kate Stern at MIVF. I was not impressed with my gyne (he was a referral from my GP) so am not sure if I want to rely on his recommendation. Has anyone else seen Kate, can you please share you experiences?

    HI @BettyRubble,
I haven't seen her, but my friends previously did. They said along the lines of "no bedside manner, but she got the job done".
You can seek a second referral- I first went to a FS at Monash and then changed to another at City Fertility. You do have to pay for that initial consult each time (around $100 out of pocket) but compared to being with a FS you don't get along with, and the costs of IVF, $100 is small change.
You may also gel with her, unfortunately its not something you will know till you meet her.
    Good luck with you appointment
