    Default Support groups

Does anyone know of any pnd support groups on Brisbane's northside, other than the Peachtree ones?

I cant get to the Peachtree ones but id like to start getting out of the house. I find my mums group just makes me feel worse cause they all seem to be coping so well. I want to connect with a group of people who actually understand.

have you contacted a mchn near you? perhaps even your local pharmacy could have a list of contacts?? I had the greatest support from my mchn when we were living Bracken Ridge, but when we moved to Nundah, the mchn there was less than helpful. I hope you can find a good support network. marie.

Sorry I don't live in Brisbane but it might be worth having a chat to your health nurse. Mine referred me onto organizations who help with finding playgroups but also provide transport. The two organizations are called Catholic care and Team health. I'm not sure if they are in your area but if they aren't surely there would be something similar considering I live somewhere that usually lacks in services.
