H2D x3...not super cheap but gives amazing curls and it's super easy to use.

I have never had a problem with curler secret. Like pp said, just make sure your hair is well combed. Also it beeps at you straight away if you do it wrong so you just release it

I'm looking at getting the VS Sassoon curl secret. I googled and seen a few reviews this morning. Some scared me a little but overall looks so handy to have I can't do ghd curls to save my life lol

I have long, thick hair and have ALWAYS struggled with curling my hair. I have never been able to curl all of my hair properly until recently. I bought myself a Remington curling wand for $20 and it works a treat! It does amazing curls which actually hold and it's super easy to use as you just wrap the hair around the wand while wearing the heat protective glove provided. I've also got the curl secret contraption and I hated it. Terrible curls and my hair would get caught it in. Curling wands all the way!

    Default Hair curler

I have one similiar to that too but was a babybliss one, didn't have a glove though, I didn't like it anywhere as much as the curl secret... And thought the old school curling wands easier, just adding my 2 cents worth.

I would go to a hair house warehouse and ask to try a few
