    Default Breastfeeding while on abx

I've just had my appendix removed and am on strong antibiotics at home. The first night back, I fed my 13 month old baby at 8pm and then at 5am. At 7am he woke up with diarrhoea and he had another bout of it later in the day as well (although I didn't feed him again since the 5am feed).
I've just fed him before bed and I'm feeling so guilty thinking about the abx passing through the Breast milk - he never gets diarrhoea even after vaccinations so I'm positive it's from the abx.
I'm just wondering if I should expect him to keep having diarrhoea until the abx course runs out or if it was a one off thing before it was a shock to his system or something? Does anyone have any experience with this?
    Thanks in advance

In my experience it tended to last as long as the antibiotic course unfortunately. Hopefully that's not the case for your little one though.
