Too many trying to keep everyone happy! Even though they've all said "with a new bub, do whatever suits you best and we'll fit in with you" but they don't really mean it! What they mean is "you must have Xmas with us!"

We're having Xmas eve with my family. I'm cooking proper Xmas dinner.

Then Xmas breakfast and presents with my family again.

Then Xmas lunch with DF's family.

Then home for tea I think.

thankfully its eased a bit the last few years.

This year we just have lunch at my place with a whole bunch of family, and then dinner at my Mums (1 hr away) .. but we stay the night at hers

Sometimes we will do a breakfast at the beach, but not doing it this year with lunch at mine

The past 3 years we have only had one - Christmas at home

Will be the same this year too.

Love our little quiet Christmas at home.
    Before that it was crazy!

    Breakfast with my parents
    Lunch with extended family
Another lunch with Inlaws and extended family
Then I would work until early hours Boxing Day
    Lunch with friends
    Work again Boxing Day

I've got one this weekend for extended family on dad's side. Then on the 20th we will go to mum's. Not sure what we'll be doing Xmas day, maybe just at home with all the kids.

None! We only have us and that's fine with me I feel a bit sad for the kids having no family as Xmas for me as a kid was all about seeing family. But we still have an enjoyable day at home in the AC rather than sweating our butts off and fighting with the flies at relatives houses lol

This is us too. This is DS' second Christmas and I'm starting to feel a bit sad about not having lots of people around. It's not so bad now but I'm not looking forward to when he knows about Christmas if that makes sense.

I only do Christmas with my family. Dds dad isn't around and I never met his family. We do Christmas Day at parents and Christmas night at one of my sisters.

We lucky in a way that df doesn't have a lot of local family. So most years it's lunch or dinner with my family (50mim drove away) and a small gathering with his brother and his wife either Xmas eve or Boxing Day.
