H I hope you get the birth you want.

Awc can you increase your cc days?

Trio Id love a water birth too but not sure if get it with my previous placenta issue.

Possum is 8 months now and is getting measured tomorrow. Any guesses of her measurements?

Yes I will push for a water birth this time if all is good. I've heard of a few VBAC water births lately at my hospital so fx.

Adorned, that's no good at all. I would probably do more daycare days in that situation if its financially viable. Why are the grandmothers so crazy??? Both my mum and mil drive me batty (MIL mostly!).

What would you do for care instead?
We would increase cc days. Though would actually have to get a long day place to start with!

At the moment he is at an occasional care (so half day), we could increase there but preferably be looking at a couple of long day care places somewhere. We are on a few waits lists and some said they would let us know in late June.

Labouring in water is great! Unfortunately didn't get a water birth. Maybe next time if I don't have a compound presentation birth!

I know right? My mil is crazy. Haha. Sometimes my mum is ok but sometimes not. I think she is slightly narcissistic? She loves ds to bits but it seems very shallow and all about how he makes her feel. I think maybe we would all cope better if she only looked after him once a week. Two days seems too much atm.

I think a lot of the problem with my mum is somethings she says or does brings back memories or emotions from when i was a kid. Its not so much that she doesn't look after ds properly (though the playground thing is getting annoying), yet. But I worry that things will get out of hand and that she isn't child-focused enough for my liking.

^defs reduce the days with her.

Good news, saw my gp and will do shared care with her. She bulk bills all antenatal appointments and she is thorough and we're on the same page for alot of issues. Phew.

Got our weigh in today and her ugh is good, weight she dropped percentiles a bit and HC... Sigh. I think I should be concerned. At 5.5 months it was 41cms. It hasn't increased since then.

    Heids that's great!

Mamasupial as Kazza said their heads do slow down. Though ds's didn't slow down until 12 months! But he has always been quick with the weight gain etc.

Eta. Their heads also change shape heaps. I think that can make the measurements a bit misleading as well.

Feeling a bit better after taking ds to the park for ages and wearing him out. Might see if I can get nan to do a half day after occasional care, when ds will be already worn out!
