Shadow sounds like your hospital isn't at all vbac friendly.

Maybe try acupressure? There are a couple of points on your feet which are worth a try. My chiro did it two days before Ra ra was born.

It depends on the OB. The one i was seeing that gave me hell over my weight was NOT VBAC friendly, but the rest seem to be pretty supportive. The one i seen today told me to give the weekend OB some work to do over the weekend and that bubs head is "right down in there" Head down, spine to the left, slightly posterior.

Had a quick talk because ive had some niggles and lots of BH etc and they said id know when to head into hospital. There was no talk of a Csect if i arrived at 2 or 3cm...like the other OB

I plan to stay at home a while anyway... I just have to bear in mind its a 1hr 15min drive during daylight hours from home to hospital door. Longer at night due to wildlife...But i also dont want to get there too early...but i dont want to be in transition 20 mins out of town with DS in the car and DF driving at 3am either.

So ill probably home stay until im sure its not going to fizzle, and its the real deal for a bit...then pack the last few things...and make our way when we are ready but be in no rush.

Sounds like a good plan. I can't believe how horrible that other ob has been!

They hurt pretty damn bad from the get go. They only slowed down when I was being checked when I first got to hospital (when I was 4cm), half an hour later they were back and I didn't get a break between contractions.

DD was taking her losec in water, but she asked the other day to just swallow it instead - which seems to be working. Appt is 3 months out - private. Was 9 months if we went public. Could think of so many other areas I would prefer to spend the money and go through the public, but it's just too long of a wait and I don't want DD to go through anything she doesn't have to. Had to pay for specialist care and an op for one of our other kids already too. Public system for health care has never been an option for us due to the long waiting lists.

Possum won't take water. We have it compounded.

Oh - I wasn't suggesting that she would - sorry, that came across wrong! I was just saying how DD was taking hers in water, but she disliked the taste so much she preferred to start trying to swallow it whole, which surprised us. Dr upped her dose to 20mg but it's still trying to kick in again after not having it for a few weeks whilst waiting for an appt. Will be nice to get to the bottom of what the problem is - hopefully the specialist is a good one...better be...wish I got paid hundreds of dollars for a 20min appt.
