Happy New Year Little Ted. I just popped in to update you on my progress. I'm 8+3. I had another scan on Tuesday and bub was 1.8mm with a heartbeat of 156bpm. Sooooo cute! I can't believe how fast this pregnancy is going and how fast the bub is growing. It's a miracle.

    I hope you're well.

I can't believe you're so far along already Shadow. Really glad you're on the downhill run and that everything is going great.

A belated happy new year to you all! Of course your little pumpkin is cute Funchu - you've waited so long. Does it still feel a little surreal that it's finally happening? Bring on the baby coming out party I say!

I think we covered about 1400km in our few weeks away. For the most part we had a fantastic time on holidays and with DH's family. We think we have spent our last Christmas with mine in that particular format but I'm not talking or thinking about that right now as we have had such a great time this last week since then and feeling so clear-headed right now.

We are now onto 'Operation make more room in our house'. It involves moving DD out of her room and DS3 into a cot in that room. In order to do this we need to cull quite a lot of stuff and will be starting to move on the baby items that he no longer needs. He went through a few transitions in the first 3 days we were away - including going from a bassinet to a cot (travel one), no more wrapping and no more dummy as he was then rolling everywhere...of course. After 3 bad nights he was all good and hoping that will continue now that we are back home. He also decided that it was a good time to start solids whilst we were away and is eating like a trooper.

I'm sure I'll remember a few more holiday anecdotes as the days roll on.

Bec - so glad possum has started to put on weight.

Okay...question time. We started on the boys' room today and so far have 5 boxes of books, toys as well as some that don't fit into a box, some baby things (some larger items too, ie. bouncer) and a whole lot of little clothes - boys and girls.

    Do I:

    a) close my eyes and give it all to vinnies?
    b) give some to vinnies and gumtree the rest?
    c) have a garage sale?

I don't really like the idea of giving it all to vinnies as some of it looks brandnew...and some of it truly are things that we've never used. We could do with the money as we're always having to buy clothes, etc for our kids, let alone paying for sports and swimming. Has anyone had a garage sale and was it worth it?
