Default I want to call in sick...

but I can't because I'm a mum and I work at home looking after a baby and toddler.... *sigh* (and cough and grumble and moan!!!!)

Wouldn't it be nice if there was sick leave for stay-at-home-mums/dads? I want to be able to wake up and phone my employer from my sick-bed and, in my husky/snotty voice, tell them that I am sick and won't be getting out of bed today and then close my eyes and go back to sleep....

    That would be nice!

Hope you feel better soon. Being a SAHM is tough when you're sick

Hugs. Hope you feel better soon. Is there anyone who could help you out today and watch the kids for a few hours so you can sleep?

It's hard, I hope you feel better soon and that you get a pay rise for working through sick without any leave!

I had a friend offer via text message to come around but I told her to stay away; I don't want to pass my germs on. So I'm doing what I did during the blurry/hazy newborn days - just the basics and trying to sleep when the kids sleep. TV & aspro & bubhub are my friends at the moment

Thanks for asking but eh... worse than yesterday unfortunately. I'm ringing 13health to ask if I can take some cold&flu drugs while breastfeeding.
