I've been on thyroxine for a few years now, I'm up to 75mg. I'm about due for a test to check where my thyroid levels are but I read somewhere recently that you should just automatically double your thyroxine if you're preggo. Not going to do that without drs advice but interesting. I'm on prednisilone too.

Usually hashi's and PCOS go hand in hand - have they looked at your resting insulin levels?

Yes apparantly I'm mildly symptomatic of PCOS but that's not the major thing contributing to the lack of conceiving, more likely the hypothyroid (which tested negative at first but 6months later tested positive) along with the antithyroid antibody, which also didn't appear in original blood tests. I have since discovered that ATA and Hashimotos are exacerbated by iodine, which is present in the majority of prenatal vitamins. So I tested negative, then was taking elevit with iodine every single day..then with no pregnancy results for 7 months I had more bloods and came up positive for hypothyroidism (only symptom being weight gain, it was a surprise to my FS) and antithyroid antibody, had to be put on a steroid to combat the ATA.. so I now take a plain folic acid with NO IODINE. This will be my first cycle since being on the thyroxine and prednisolone for 8 weeks, it's also the first time in 11 months that I've had a normal cycle length (30 days as opposed to 50) and ovulated at the normal time (day 16 instead of day 23). So here's hoping things have balanced out and today's FET is delivered into a nice welcoming 'environment'. Ps. Don't you love it when they call your uterus an 'environment'? 😂 Lol, those scientists and their detaching from the emotional level 😊

@Sharlie- OMG CONGRATS That's truly great news. More hopefully to come on this thread. I am also taking Thyroxine and also have PCO, @DellaDella I had no idea they are going hand in hand. I have a follow up blood test in a couple of weeks to see how it's going. I am also taking elevit and iodine ...mmmhhhh...will keep that in mind.

I just got a call from my FS and I have 1 BLASTOCYST! OMG, I am so relieved. I never would have thought after having 16 Eggs at EPU I'll be trying to get one to make it to the freezer. I am so happy though, this one must be a fighter. Hopefully he/she will continue that fight once back home in march. In the meantime I guess it will have a good cold sleep.

I just had a 2 days scan but they found 0 follicles - and the lady said she didn't expect to see any ?!!
I'm in Sydney so not at my usual place.
    Very worried and confused.
Absolutely no info from my nurse yet

@amie999 as in day 2 of your period? In that case they wouldn't be expecting anything I think. Unless you have PCO/PCOS then you will have lots of antral follicles?

They can usually see at least 4 at this stage - day 2
    I'm actually day 3 today.
Just wondering if anyone else has had a cycle cancelled due to this

@Sharlie that is fantastic news....so excited for you!! Im feeling super frustrated at the moment. Went in for my 3rd BT today and i still have traces of HCG so have to go in for another BT next week....really dragging the process out. Also means i cant do an FET this month 😢 They're not kidding when they tell you it will be a rollercoaster of emotions. Has anyone else had a chemical pregnancy and how long did it take to resolve??

Yaaay @Keiko2012! Come on little embie, you can do it! @Oldey you poor thing. You probably just want to move on.
I had a much darker bfp this morning, but have been bleeding heavily ever since. I called my clinic who said it would definitely be AF and not to bother with my pregnancy BT next week. Heartless w*nkers!!!
I'm feeling really upset but not out of hope yet as I've had a similar thing before. Sidestepping my stupid clinic and going to GP this afternoon.

@Oldey I’m so sorry it’s dragging out for you. I had a chemical last year, and from memory it took about 2 weeks for my HCG to return to zero. It went something like 56 at 13dpo, then 22, then 15, then 7 then 0.

@octonaut Now, that’s just mean! Surely they can do your BT early to at least help you understand what’s going on? Good move with the GP visit. Hopefully you will get some answers. I’m sorry it’s so uncertain and stressful

@Keiko2012 That's awesome news about your emby! Sounds like you have a tough one there Hope the OHSS resolves ASAP and you feel much better.

Afm, I don't know what's going on with my body. I've been on synarel for 7 weeks now, and on the pill for nearly 3 weeks, but just in the last few days I've been spotting and having these quite sharp ovary pains. Any ideas what it could be? It's about when AF would normally be due, but surely with all those drugs there shouldn't be anything going on in there? I'm supposed to stop the pill on Sunday and then see FS to get started jabbing next week. Should I just wait til then, or do you think it's worth emailing FN and asking about it? I hate feeling like that annoying patient who gets all worried and bugs them all the time about things that are totally normal
