You could start a week after 3dt, which would put you at 10dpo. But don't stress if it's a negative, because it could still turn into a positive when you test early
Ladies who had a 5dt (especially those who had one today), are you testing at home? If so, when? Testing buddies!
Also when are your BTs scheduled? Mine is Feb 2.

Well I started testing yesterday on day 10, (5dp5dt) but a few would say that is a bit too early.

It is hard to stay positive once you start testing and get a BFN so maybe dragging out the optimistic suspense until maybe day 13 or 14 would be better as by then, a negative would be much more reliable and it wouldn't be clouded by glimmers of hope, so you could digest it and start moving on.

I am not sure, does anyone have tips on testing? What do others do?

@octonaut my BT is the 30th. I plan to test on the 28th as it's hubby's birthday and 2yrs ago, I tested on his b'day and got a bfp so I'm hoping that it's good luck. It will be a miserable b'day it's a Bfn though but willing to take the chance.
Keep the faith @2015. This wait drives you crazy doesn't it. Good luck for tomorrow x
