Default Hello, my name is Bri and I've been trying to conceive for almost a year

I had a lap in January of 2013 they found very little endo and removed it, my Dr put me on birth control for about 3 months which stopped my period. He had me stop in April so I could have one, and I didn't get a period until about august 2013. He said it was ok. I didn't have another period until October 2014 and again this month (November 2014), and I haven't been on birth control since April 2013. My Dr said not to worry but now I'm starting too. We've been trying to conceive since February 2014, it's almost been a year with nothing. I don't know what to do anymore I've tried everything relaxing staying in bed for 15 minutes after. Nothings working and I'm getting scared I'm only 20, which I understand to some people is young to even try to be conceiving but it's what we want and what we are ready for. Please if anyone can give me some sort of advice it's greatly appreciated...

    Hi and welcome to bubhub

so - just to be clear - after a lap and a few months of the pill, you had one period (Aug 13) and then no period for a year?

and have been TTC for almost a year?

I would definitely go and see someone. If you go to your GP he will do a blood test, get your partner to do a sperm sample ... and then hopefully refer you to a fertility specialist.

Why did you have a lap at 19? where you getting very painful periods? who did it and have you been back to see that specialist?
