My GP ran blood tests to check my levels were all ok etc. I literally fell off my chair at work when he called the next day to say it was positive and I'd need a scan to check dates. I was always regular before going on the pill too.
I bet your mind is in overdrive with all the "what ifs" poor thing!

Update AF had arrived!! Cd39... Let's see what next month brings.
@ames1988 how are you going any signs yet?

I don't know if me taking vitex helped but I started taking it on Monday and AF came on Friday.

@lauzie that's great news! Hopefully your next month will be a bit more regular.

Cd35 for me at the moment and still nothing. Might give vitex a go, it can't hurt.

It's worth a shot! You can grab a bottle from chemist warehouse for $15 with 60 tablets.

Hoping for a much more regular month this month, fingers crossed.

Just wanted to check in on this thread to see what everyone's first cycle off the pill was like. Currently
cd60 with a doctors appointment on Wednesday. Not sure if it's worth going, or if I should wait a little longer.
Trying not to stress myself out too much!

Definitely give vitex a go! Also try maca powder too. Hoping your cycles return to normal shortly

Default Coming off the pill after 12 years

Thanks @clucky_duck! I have been on vitex for 3 weeks but it hasn't seemed to make a difference. Hoping for some positive news soon.

I went off the pill in November after 13 years. I had a usual withdrawal bleed. As far as I can tell, I ovulated first cycle (ewcm and ovulation pains). They have continued each cycle since.

My cycles however have been getting shorter 30, 26 & 24 days. I am currently cd11 and ovulating again, so we shall see what this month brings.

Guess no one else has really experienced the same thing. Off to the docs in a few weeks to get it all checked out.
