Guess it's just that my AF isn't when I expected. Got a BFN last night. I didn't expect for there to be a delay in getting back to regular cycles. Something they don't tell you about when the doctor puts you on it at 17 I guess.

@ames1988 I hear ya! Tested this morn at day 35 with bfn.
Looks like it's the waiting game now for when AF returns.

Default Coming off the pill after 12 years

So frustrating @lauzie. Feels like most people are back to normal quickly, but of course that's not the case for me.

Took the thoughts out of my head! All my friends or co workers went back to being regular quickly.

It is just so annoying not know when it is going to come.
    1. Booking in waxing apts in advance is hard haha
    2. Always have to wear something just in case
    3. Get a little scarred that because being on the pill for so long has masked any issues I may have had

My mind goes into overdrive and I am not a very patient person so this is driving me bananas haha

Sounds exactly like me! I can't work out if I'm still ov but without AF, or if I'm not ov at all. Not sure if I mind either way, it would just be nice to know what's going on.

Trying not to put life on hold while I wait, but it is really so hard not to overthink it.

Even I had similar issue but it was of 5 years and because of PCOS. I documented the whole story of my conception here

Have you had a blood test to see if you are infact pregnant?
I was on the pill for 13 years and fell preg once off but didn't know. Was getting BFNs and put it down to my body adjusting etc. I didn't get the usual signs of sore boobs etc.
was 9 weeks when I found out via dating scan after a positive blood test.
Even then I got a bfn on different brands. Weird I know but happens.

I was on the pill for 12 years before coming off it to TTC. I went on it due to AF irregularity. After waiting 4-5months and still not getting AF I went to my GP. I was sent for an internal scan & found out that I had borderline PCOS and possibly always had a bit of it due to the irregularity as a teenager. I feel your frustration!!!!

Haven't gone for a blood test, been poas this week but the tests are saying bfn.
Am thinking I will go to my gp for a check up mid feb if no AF still.

I was on the pill roughly 12 years and from what I remember my cycles were regular, just suffered from bad period pains.

I know it can take some time to return but I am just so inpatient I am my own worst enemy right now haha
