Thanks @Shrillian. Sucks that you're still here too! No full flow as yet. I've got an appt with the FS tomorrow morning to talk about options. I'm going to ask him if I can have a blood test to check hormone levels or something to work out where I'm at in my cycle. My progesterone has been low so the last 2 cycles I've been on progesterone pessaries/suppositories but I stopped those on fri when i started spotting. It's all too hard sometimes.

big hugs. Did they tell you your level? You have a history of chems don't you? Can they find out why it keeps happening?

Default Long Term TTC chat #3

Yeah my hcg came back at 2 which is weird since I got a Bfp this morning and another really light one this arvo. Maybe a bad batch of tests tho I got a bfn yesterday. We did a miscarriage investigation last month and found Both DH and I have a gene mutation that doubles my miscarriage rate but I'm being tested for that. Oh well guess I have to wait till feb to try again now

Welcome oneandonlyem! Sorry you have to join this thread...

I too get a couple of days of spotting before AF shows up. Sometimes I even get spotting around CD21, but FS thinks it's normal and that I may be sensitive to hormone surge.

Just ace - There is no way I'll be taking Clomid over the festive season - I just want to enjoy drinking and eating too much and being merry with friends and family! FYI - Clomid drives me literally insane and my FS said to stop it due to the side effects it had on me.

Ella - sorry to hear. Could the false readings have been due to Pregnyl shots? I thought you are not meant to test until after 12dpo if you're doing Pregnyl?

Afm - I've rebooked for lap in Feb - so we're taking a couple of months off from actively TTC.

@CinderElla88 - anything under 5 doesn't count, as some of us naturally have some HCG in our bodies. A chem would only be classified as such if the levels went above that (usually from around 10 upwards).

ETA - doesn't make things better, though, as it then just means no implantation. Which is very annoying. I've had two chems as well. First got to 48 then dropped (my first OI cycle) and then to 20 (my first FET).

My nurse says she can't explain it that it's defiantly not the pregnyl and that there may had been a attempt to implant that failed which seems like what happened as af just arrived 4 days early

But you're only around 12DPO or something, aren't you? Surely that wouldn't be enough time for implantation to have occurred and HCG to have dropped below cover already? Asking, as both of my 20 and 48 HCG levels were gathered at 16DPO.

That really sucks Cinder I found with mine levels dropped quite quickly. On the Friday they were 50, by Monday morning they were 2 and I got a very very faint line that morning.

I was really hoping this was it for you

Shrill - what is happening with you?

Boysie - I'm sorry it has come to this. Things are so unfair

I thought this too. I implanted 10PO this time. My levels at 14 DPO were 180 but that's very very high. I obviously had no pregnyl.

    Could it be too early?
