Nothing much here. We are having a cycle off doing anything because the FS has been off over Christmas. We are just doing our own thing, so basically just waiting to ovulate now. When/if AF comes again I'll call the FS and book in again

Hi ladies. Delirium linked me to this thread and i was wondering if i can join? I have been TTC for nearly 5 years and i got a bfp on Saturday but have since lost the pregnancy. I feel so ashamed of myself for denying i might have a problem because i'm "young and healthy". Ever since i found this site i've realised anyone can have issues. Sorry if i'm rambling i'm feeling very lost

So sorry for your loss unicorns and rainbows. It's heartbreaking to finally get the positive and then have it taken away. Ramble away. I've been putting off a laparoscopy for a year or so now : /

Hi @unicornsandrainbows. Sorry to hear about your loss. Have you seen a doctor and had blood tests etc done? We've been trying for a good year and a half with no luck. Once I went to see a fertility specialist I found out I have polycystic ovaries. I don't really have any of the symptoms but my ovaries both have the classic pearl necklace appearance. I also have a short cycle and often my luteal phase is quite short too. Hopefully you can get some answers as to why it's not working for you.

Laparoscopy is keyhole surgery where they put a camera in and have a look around to see if your tubes are clear or anything else wrong. I'm ovulating no problem, very predictable with regular cycles and DH sperm sample had no problems.

I'm scared. I'm scared of my ultrasound tomorrow and my appointment next Wednesday at the big hospital for a scan of my ovaries and everything. I'm scared of my husbands sperm tests. I'm scared of all the blood tests. I'm scared i'm going to be told i'll never be a mother. I'm so so scared. What if my body is useless???? What if i can't give my husband a child?

Deep breaths @unicornsandrainbows. What if they find something that's really easy to fix! It is a really scary time but you'll get through it no matter what the outcome.

I have a lap booked in early February- so it is just a waiting game for me until then. DH and I have been ttc for almost 3 years and all tests have come up clear. In a way I'm looking forward to the lap for possibly more answers!
