Default Morning sickness is killing me.

    Hi ladies,
im 6 weeks preg and had to take time off work coz I'm vomiting, dry retching, nauseous all the time.
i cry in my bedroom as can't stand to be in my living room since it's open plan and I smell everything.
already did a trip to ER, gave me fluids and zofran which I vomited when hot home.
now taking maxolon second day. Still dry retching and 1-2 vomits.
im depressed and scared. I only weigh 49kg with 1.65 m in height. When will it stop. Told my husband I want the baby out....

Oh darling, I was like that with all four of my pregnancies, even the act of talking made me vomit! It doesn't help that pregnancy often gives you smell aversions which sets you off too.

I wouldn't worry so much about your eating, but more that you need to stay hydrated. As hard as it is, you must try and keep down water or fluids, don't gulp, just have tiny sips if that's all you can manage. The same with food, only eat what you can manage, even if it's a nibble on a dry biscuit.

If you can try not to get your blood sugar levels low as well because that doesn't help, so if you can manage to snack all day as opposed to 3 meals a day. Things that helped me cope a little was wearing sickness bands on my wrist and sucking on fruit tingles (I know that probably sounds odd) and these amazing lollies called 'Preggie drops' they came in a lollypop as well. They worked a treat for me as I couldn't handle the usual remedies of ginger etc.

Unfortunately there is no way to know when it will stop for you Russian, but hopefully sooner rather than later.

Big hugs xx I've suffered through 3 pregnancies with hg two until 16weeks this one is still going and I'm almost 34weeks luckily only mildly now :/ ask your Dr about restavit and b6 that along with zofran were the only things keeping me sane the first 4 months. Hope it doesn't last too long for you x

Here are the Preggie Drops that I had, I also had ones with various flavours and I would just suck on those all day when I was in the acute m/s stage!

oh hun I know the feeling. it feels like it never ends. but it will. with me I discovered the pregnancy vitamins was making it a lot worse. I found the iron levels didn't agree with me so I stopped taking them and just took plain folate. it improved by 50%.

When I was first pregnant I couldn't even get them online in Australia, but now a few health care shops online and other websites sell them here online.

The only place I have seen them in an actual shop was 'Mothercare' but I think they went into receivership last year?

The preggie drops I most liked were the ones with the following flavours: Sour raspberry, Green Apple, Sour lemon, Sour tangerine.
