Being on the end of being told I need to lose weight from my first love at the time, it really does make you feel like crap and self confidence goes to 0! So I wouldn't say they need to lose weight.
I'd be supportive with weight loss if that is what they want, esp if health related.

I have to say that I notice it, but not from a physical attraction standpoint but that I worry about his health. Rather than say anything, I have led by example and have made adjustments to our family diet.

Nope, not a chance in hell.

My DH has never once mentioned my weight to me, except when I was pregnant with DS1 and lost a lot of weight due to HG, he got very worried as I was losing a lot very fast.

However, I am trying to lose weight at the moment and he is amazingly supportive. He has stopped eating chocolate in front of me and basically doing whatever I need him to, to make it easier for me.

No I wouldnt dare. When I was in highschool my boyfriend at the time told me I was getting fat, should lose some weight and not wear singlets anymore. I was only 67 kilos at the time. That has stuck with me ever since, I will never forget it. Its been 10 years and I still struggle with self esteem especially since ive gained 25 kilos since then.
