    Default Closer to nature bottles

    Hi all,
I have next to no breastmilk, so I have to bottle feed. Does anyone else have any problems with the Closer To Nature bottles teats collapsing? I have to take the bottle out of bubs mouth every 2 min or so, otherwise it completely collapses and doesn't let milk out. It's starting to give me the right $hits!

I had to ff for that exact reason, I have the closer to nature bottles and found every teat would collapse when we first started using them. After about a week of using them they got better. I also used to open the valve thing (lol) a lot when I was finished washing them, dunno if it helped but I like to think it did. Every time I changed up to the next stage or got more bottles we had to just wait for it to wear in as such

You do know the valve should be facing upwards don't you?
Took me ages to work that out due to the teats collapsing
    They work much better now.

    Yep that bit haha.
I always make sure the valve things on top. Took me a while to realise that. But it helped. Trying to get family to do it is a nightmare though haha.

Um I have no idea then! Lol. Mine always fixed up and stopped collapsing. Um maybe the bottle is being done up to tight?
I have no idea lol some other ladies may have some ideas lol

I never really noticed with milk temps. Lol. But it is possible.
I'd try loosening it a bit and if that doesn't work I have no idea lol mine just seemed to sort themselves out

Also ensure the water isn't too hot when putting the lids on.

I used these and it did happen a few times. TT said to make sure the valves were all opening alright. Sometimes they can be a bit sticky. Give them a squeeze to make sure they open. Make sure it's at the top when feeding. I also found when we got the next size up teats, it didn't happen.

I had this happen because I was using the smaller teats & DD was sucking too hard.
