    Default SH!T my MIL says

My mil doesn't believe vasectomys are good birth control because the woman could cheat anyway.

?!? Umm.. Does she know a vasectomy/birth control isn't supposed to make you just stop having s'x?
I'm wondering if she is somehow confused that a vasectomy completely takes away your libido and or appendage?
    That's so weird.

LOL I can relate to this one, every.single.thing my DD does, my MIL has to say 'oh just like her father. He used to do that'. It's down to the tiniest things,
'Oh she says fruit just like her father did'
'She likes custard? Just like her father!' (And 99% of people!)
'She tries to stay up past her bedtime? She gets that from her father'
People constantly say how much she looks like me, MIL would never admit that lol I think she likes to believe I had zero part in making DD!

This is my MIL exactly!! Everyone says both kids look exactly like me but nooo they are just like DH. No one else can see the resemblance.

She even tries to get them to call things what DH used too, for example he always called his blanket a no no so now that's all she calls a blanket around our kids or spaghetti was sugep so she will only call it that and tells our kids to call it that too. It drives me INSANE!!

My mil was exactly the same when I had my first. Its so frustrating and if she didnt say dd was like her father she would say oh dd must get that from her grandma

More so that it doesn't work as birth control because the woman could cheat and get pregnant anyway. I shouldn't reply while trying to feed.

Yeah my MIL has always said my kids are just like their dad. ummm no....they look like me. Recently it was my bday and my cousin posted a pic of me and her when I was my DS1's age, and I had to do a double take.we are like twins! Everyone commented on how much DS looks like me.
over easter we had a fam get together, and the boys were cooking lunch on bbq.cant remember how it started, but my SIL was moaning about her hubby not being able to cook and my MIL pipes up "well he WAS trained well!" Like she's passed on her cooking goddess **** to her kids.I took that opportunity to let everyone know that last time hubby cooked dinner, he put on potatoes to boil for mashed potato, and 10 mins later goes" should I put the chicken Kiev in oven now?" I lost my **** at him amazingly she didn't say a word

This sounds exactly like my mil (and the whole family, actually). Funny thing is they don't see how she is like me too because they are too busy seeing him in her. Actually, she is 100 %dh and 100 % me at the same time I think, which makes for a very full-on child with two personalities squeezed into one little person lol
