    Default Mini pill

Ds is 12 weeks old. Before I had him I had the mirena I am waiting for my appointment to have it put back in so my doctor prescribed the mini pill which I have never had before. I had the mirena for 5 years and didn't have a period even when I had it removed ttc. I am breastfeeding, been on the minipill for 28 days (just completed first pack), today I have a headache, im bloated, craving stodgy comfort food, i have very large amounts of very wet (not egg white like, just watery) cervical mucus. Im confused?? What is going on??

I did but having said that I started taking them after my period arrived (6 months after having c-section, still breastfeeding) so my body was just doing 'normal' cycles with it. I always got a shocking headache the day before I would get my period and had heaps of discharge (more thick and stringy) in the few days before AF would arrive.

Yes you can get af on the mini pill. It doesn't control your period like other pills, so my understanding is af will just return as it would if you weren't taking the mini pill. I've been on it twice after the birth of both kids. I went on it about 4 weeks pp and my period returned about 12 months pp both times (was still bf both times). After Ds2 it took a few irregular cycles, then it settled down to a 28-31 day cycle.
