I think it is best to get a referral from GP in case you need to do other things down the track with DrM. Some people do get rebate from DrM phone consults and some don't. Consultation fees also varies...don't ask me why.

Yes, you can do IVIG/intralipid here in Perth. The Dr charges the same as DrM (because is a monopoly business so he can). Not cheap but save you the hassle and weekend to Sydney. The bonus is that he does it any day of the week.

DrM will write you BT and you can do it at any path lab here in perth.

If you already decided to consult with DrM, don't worry about asking FS for testing NK cell. DrM will write you a whole lot -- more than just NK cell. I assume your FS is more open minded than most FS here in perth. Otherwise, he/she will just tell you that it is rubbish. I did two endo scratch in the end because the Perth FS, who did the procedure, doesn't believe in NK cell testing. I couldn't find anyone to do it for me here so i ended up flying to sydney for it. I wish i know the Dr who does the intralipid for me earlier because he would have been happy to do it.

ps: do you mind PM me the name of the immunologist? I am curious.

So much valuable info..thank you all! I thibk I will try a few cycles with current fs...he seemed pretty open minded about immune stuff and we wont be too much out of pocket as we are not doing ivf. If no joy I will get a phone appt with dr M and go from there!

Thank you all again for all this info.. @bbhope I will pm you later

Good luck with your TT journey, you are fortunate to have the time to try naturally.

I can also add my vote for Dr M.

Patience, just to let you know - I am in Perth and got the book from the library. Small thing cost wise but just in case you hadn't thought of it. Good luck

Anyone going for Intrallipids this Friday? I asked if it could be done on Friday, instead of Saturday, as I fancied using up some of my sick leave and it was no problem at all :-)

As it is, I have a nice head cold at the moment. I kind of thought that with all these Intrallipids that I really shouldn't get any colds???

Oh francesthecat! Hug congrats!!!!!!!! Get a lot of rest. )) so happy for u.

Bertie: I think it is the pred that helps. DH was sick for a month and I always get sick after being on an international flight. But I didn't get it at all after my last trip. I have been getting head cold symptom ever since I went off it. Just trying to stay away from sick ppl and crowd.
