I did 10 cycles with OE and the 11th with DE which was the successful cycle.
I didn't find out about my immune issues until after 9 cycles.
All immune treatment here is private as well. I have a reproductive immunoligist who manages my immune issues separately from my OB, who is fine with it, he is one of a few who believe in immune issues.

I know what you mean by getting off the drug train as its doing my head in at the moment. The break will do your body and soul good so look after yourself and do some fun things for a while without having to run to a schedule.

Wow that's a lot of cycles... That must take it out of you, very frustrating that you didn't find out until cycle 9 but again how wonderful that finally you are pregnant!!

That's really interesting that you actually have reproductive immunologists and an ob, to be fair I haven't looked outside of the hospital I'm with right now as they got me into the immune testing - I wonder if there are reproductive specialists in the UK, definitely something to look into.

Yes that's exactly what I'm thinking, something fun that doesn't involve injections....!

How are you feeling with your pregnancy/drugs, are you having any big side effects?

Check the back of your book to see if there's a dr in the UK. I know Dr M is in there.

Pregnancy is fine, steriods have stuffed up my lapband and i cant keep alot of things down because of that, so i have to look into it. Also insomnia and eating! If i wasn't on steriods I dont think i'd know i was pregnant!

    Hello everyone

I've just got my protocol from dr M. I'll be on 15mg prednisone, clexane and IVIG. I have elevated ANA and blood NK cells.
I know that most of you are on higher dosage of prednisone (25-30). Does 15mg sound right for you? Also, dr M specifically said to take the same dose after transfer. Has anyone else done the same, because from what I read you usually increase the dose.
    Thanks a lot.

    Have a lovely weekend!

I guess it depends on how high ur ANA level. The highest dose I had was 20mg. I know drM even increases it after bfp. I didn't up it and stick with FS protocol. High dose doesn't necessary mean good. All sort of side effect.

I think my high dose of Dex/pred is due to very high NKC in uterus. Plus your diung IVIG which is stronger than Intralipids.

Thank you ladies. I know I should trust dr M and I shouldn't question everything, but this could be our last chance and I want to do everything we can.
    My ANA id 1:320.

    Have a great weekend!

@francesthecat, hope the 2ww isn't driving you bananas! @Pigglechopchops, I think you've got a really good reproductive immunologist in the UK-Dr Gorgy I think his name is. Maybe worth a Google. @HFAM, try not to worry/question the protocol too much. The thing is that you never know how you're going to respond to the meds. There are so many who have had success with lower levels of meds. As frustrating as Dr M's practice can be, he usually does have a method to what we sometimes see as madness!! My fingers are crossed for you.

How's everyone else going? @PreciousHeart, @MGC Bertie, @Legwarmer, how are you ladies all traveling?

Afm, 38 weeks tomorrow. Hopefully 2 weeks or less until we meet bub and I have no nausea. I think I'm just as excited about both!!
