Frances, if you're going into another cycle straight away I would continue with Dex.

Good luck with your current cycle.

I think headaches are just apart of pregnancy. I never have headaches in normal life but have noticed I've had 3 in the last week.

Totally off topic - someone at work today asked me what nationality Dr M is? I kind of thought Egyptian or something, but wondered afterwards why someone who hadn't met him would want to know?

Bbhope... I wouldn't be surprised if someone from work is stalking me on Bubhub. I went back to work yesterday (after having 5 weeks off). I had told all my workmates by email, text or Facebook last week that I was pregnant, and that my immune issues were the problem getting pregnant, and had left it like that. Then yesterday, when I went back to work, these were the questions that people blurted out to me, face-to-face, no holding back:
    - 4 x people asked directly "did you do IVF?"
    - 2 x people asked "did you conceive naturally?"
    - 2 x people asked "is it your own egg?"
    - 1 x person asked "is it DH's sperm?"
Seriously!!! If someone told me they were pregnant, I wouldn't dare ask those questions (and some of those people I'm not even particularly close to). Anyhow, I stayed calm, and answered, in order:
    - "yes, we did do IVF, but in the end that wasn't the issue, my immune conditions were the problem"
    - "it was a kind of IVF, but was as natural as possible, and really probabaly could have done it naturally, as in the end it were my immune issues that were the problem"
    - "yes, my egg"
    - this was the trickiest, as I needed to lie on this one!! so I kind of nodded, and gathered the answer up in "gosh, yes, it took us a long time" which kind of didn't actually answer the question, but glossed over it, implying it was, and the colleague seemed happy!!!

@MGCBERTIE, thats weird, very odd people and obviously don't have lives. I told 4 people at work last week and they were nothing but excited for me, although I think they're still in shock. I told them it was through IVF and sperm donor and that was it. Said it up front, mainly coz i'm single and didnt mention DE in SA.

@MGC Bertie: do you think your BH name can tip someone off that it is you? I have given a lot of thought about these. I have decided not to tell anyone about IVF other than a few close friends who already know we have problem. They know because I couldn't bare the pregnancy talk whenever we went out (they were preg at the time). A bit selfish, i know. I can't control other people's mouth so the less people know about it, the better. Maybe only two of them got the hint of DS but I hope they don't ask. It is kinda rude to ask that. If i could not let few of my colleagues know about the preg, I would be happy. But the reality is that they will know eventually when the belly pops out. I had heard a lot of gossip from them, which I didn't think those involved people would appreciate me knowing. Unfortunately, few of my friends who know or don't know about IVF still won't shut up asking me when I'll be doing IVF or if we are planning to have a baby everytime they meet me. Seriously, this has become rude. I know those who know about the IVF are trying to provide support but their support isn't helping most of the time. Without going through that themselves, the comments they made were a bit insensitive.

If anyone dares to ask me more, I'll ask them back "do you want me to tell you which position it gets us pregnant?"
