Good luck Bertie. Phone consult is worse......I always had to take the day off because they just told me a time frame. I couldn't just have the conversation in the office. If they would tell me a fixed time and on time, it would have worked but it never did. They always ran late and I was sitting by the phone all day long and couldn't get anything done even going out to grab lunch. Sure, you spent time waiting in the Dr office but at least you could read a book or something. One time, not sure why.....no one called but was told that they couldn't get through my phone......(?)

Hopefully, you are now all set for IUI.

@Hopefullyanotherbaby I'm hoping I can get away with just the bondi protocol it's always great to hear of success with minimal treatment 😊 I am hoping to go with genea only because they do EPU everyday of the week I have found my body doesn't like to be scheduled lol but given I have endometriosis I need to get that checked again before moving onto my next cycle grrrr more waiting
Does anyone know if dr Geoffrey Reid will prescribe the bondi protocol I have been refered to him because he also deals with endometriosis so I'll probly be picking between him and dr Alison gee I have made appnts with both

@miissalina Yes Dr R prescribes prednisone and clexane (which is the Bondi protocol I believe)

Big hello to everyone else! I have been AWOL for a while now as we aren't transferring for another 9 weeks - if everything goes smoothly. I am trying to be "normal" (whatever that means) so not online much. I hope you are all hanging in there

Thanks Bertie & Legwarmer for the advice! Miissalina I have met Dr R a few times & he is into immune stuff... I would meet with each of them if you can & choose... Legwarmer is with dr G & if we ever were to switch docs at genea I would switch to her I think but I don't have endo. Have you tried giving up dairy & gluten re the endo to see if it helps? Good move with going with genea they are excellent, have been there 5 years xxx

My second daughter Ciara was born on the 19th Nov so one week today. Ciara is another Dr M baby and I know without a doubt without him I wouldn't be holding her now. After my first daughter in 2010, I had 7 consecutive miscarriages. It's unbelievable that she's here.
my protocol for my beautiful girl was IVIG, Dex, Neupogen and clexene. Never lose faith ladies. Wishing u all will be holding your own miracle immune babies soon

Hi ladies, i hope everyone is doing well.

Nudhilaine, a huge congratulations on your little girl, i remember when you were just pregnant, doesn't time just fly.

Bertie, Both of my phone consults have been around 5pm, i think he does his phone consults after his appointments in his rooms.

AFM, well I thought I'd have just one last nkc57 biopsy before my DE cycle in February as I haven't had it tested for nearly a year and finished with OE cycles back in June. Surprisingly my results were 15mm2. Last year it was 50mm2. I can't believe the difference and I'm sure doing so many cycles in 18mths effected my uterus as I also had 2 abnormal papsmears during that time and funny how everything has gone back to normal since I've stopped. I know 15mm2 is still 50% higher than what it should be but it's much better than 500%. Now I'm worried that when I send the results through to DrM he'll reduce my treatment plan, mainly my neupogen which I've already bought, so I'm ready to fight that one.

Has anyone else had their NKC57 decrease by so much? (I actually doubt the result a little bit, especially when I was on Dex it only ever went down to 20mm2)

Default Catching Rainbows & Dr M

@ Precious Heart I'm glad you like the tracks ... Lucy is seriously the only person who has kept me sane and afloat during my last two cycles which resulted in miscarriages ... Saint Lucy I like to call her ... her IVF tracks are great but she will also tailor make bespoke tracks for very very reasonable prices ... she really gets the issues and couldn't more more humble, on the mark and kind!

It was so great to read the latest post from @ Nudhilaine - HUGE CONGRATULATIONS - about Dr M ... I have to say sometimes all of the practises around his office seem a little clandestine - handwritten receipts, no EFTPOS, no letters or instructions about procedures, bringing bundles of cash ... every now and then I have myself questioning what I am doing ... its great to hear of others successes and to be reassured he is just old school ...
