MIVF is just a production line for their cash cow. Sorry for being blunt, I actually went to a couple of FS's there and at the end of the day they stick to their script book and that's it rather than tailoring to suit each individual.
P.S. did Dr C miss diagnosing some of your immune issues, Sagi? She missed testing for some stuff?

So far she's diagnosed me with slightly high NK cells in blood, high side of normal of NK cells in uterus, hetero MTHFR (but apparently not the one that causes issues). But I don't think I've had my ANA checked. I suspect they will be elevated as I have Hashimoto's.

I know that doubling time is 48hrs in the first few weeks (which it has been spot on), and then starts to slow down, but this week makes the doubling time 123hrs, but I'm thinking that maybe that's OK. Well, I guess there's nothing I can do so will have to just wait and see what the scan shows tomorrow (Tues). P4 has increased from 140-150 now to 165, but Dr M said to stay on 3 x pessaries per day - was kind of hoping that I could decrease these.
Best of luck for the scan today. Thinking of you

MGC Bertie all the very very best for today, what a big day for you both, wow!!!! can't wait to hear some excellent happy news!

Well I've been out of it for a while, we are trying to decide on doing another donor cycle or not after our 4 BFNs... as 2 scans over the last 2 years have said possible diffuse adenomyosis, I am having an MRI today and then consulting with Dr T at Repromed about it on the phone. Thank you to Sootymay for alerting me to this however I am furious at my FS for not thinking it a possible issue and I won't be seeing him again.

I'm having the MRI at St Vincents in Sydney - it's $500 no rebate, why is it so exxy do you think??? I thought it was meant to be just over $300 - anyone had one somewhere else in Sydney for less?

Lulubee, interested to read about your adeno issues... are you going to take zoladex for 3 months?

Hi to everyone, hope you're all traveling well. BB hope sorry have been AWOL, will reply to your PM soon!!!

Good luck today with the MRI today, PreciousHeart. I hope it is really helpful and can guide your next steps. Yes, that sucks that your FS has overlooked it. Sadly I think this happens often. I don't think even the specialists know enough about adeno. My gyn and FS both think it's not a problem for getting pregnant. They also don't think it causes miscarriages - but I've had three in a row about having no issues with DD. I'm not sure what I'll be doing to address it yet. Right now we're not doing anything. We're TTC naturally for about 3 cycles (on 20 mg Prednisolone) and then if no joy we'll do IVF. I know we'll do a long down regulation but I don't know specifically if that will be with Zoladex or Synarel. I'll KUP when I know more.

Lulubee, she didn't test me for any of those issues, i only found out about them from another OB/FS that i went to see for 2 abnormal pap smears and it just came up in conversation of my journey. Needless to say i felt like i wasted 2yrs, 9 cycles and lots and lots of $ with them. Just keep your mind open and if you don't have it, buy Dr Beers book, 'Is your body baby friendly'. Immune issues are quite controversial in the fertility industry with a lot of FS's not believing in it, that's why there are only a few good Drs in Aust to go to for treatment.
