    Default Dex and Rialto

Congratulations Ladybug that is amazing news ... just the best

Rialto I think that you are right to question things like Dex ... it is important to question ...

It is incredibly difficult to be in this space of undiscovered science ... and each of us has to choose our own path ... and the risks we are willing to take.

I have been very silent on this forum because it feels you are not permitted to say anything negative about Dr M

However after one consult saying he could get me pregnant 99% and the next when I questioned him on some things saying I should think of quitting because I was too complex I have decided to stop seeing him...

He also did two procedures when I was under GA which I did not consent to, and
rubbished and belittled the advice of my FS who is currently doing a PhD into Recurrent Miscarriage. I find this very unprofessional. My FS on the other hand has been very guarded and careful and professional in what he has said about Dr M.

This has been a hard decision but I think is it the right one for me we each have to find practitioners and treatments we are personally comfortable with.

Janet, this forum is about open feedback whether its good or bad. We need to be aware of all sides, so don't feel like you can't say what you feel.
I haven't met Dr M in person, but you do what you feel is best for you. If its going with your FS's advice over Dr M then thats what you have to do. There are others on here that are only treated by their FS.

There is nothing wrong to speak out what u think. I also have mixed feeling about drM. As I mentioned earlier, there is certain treatment that I would not do. That's because of my circumstance. I don't see the point of throwing thousands of $, which we don't have, and having an invasive procedure for two infertile people (we already have to use donor sperm). And it is a lottery ticket. I would rather adopt, surrogacy etc to get a guarantee baby. I am impressed to those who had done N cycles and persistent on his protocol. I still recommend people to do a consult with him because he knows immunology the best but one should never blindly follow a dr but to make their own judgement. That's what I do.

BBHope- I couldn't agree more with your comment about not blindly following a doctor. Drs are human and don't have all the answers. Hopefully we can each extract what we want from those we use and be comfortable enough to discard what (& who) we aren't happy with.

Hi everyone - who is the best FS to see at IVF Australia in Sydney??? With immune issues should I only consider DR Sacks or are there others that you think highly of???

If you couldnt use Genea or IVF Australia in Sydney what clinic would you recommend or have heard of being really good with results especially using PGD?

For anyone doing egg donation, do you know of a clinic in NSW that does not do an international count of the 5 family limit?

    Thanks ladies! xxx
