Grrr. My post didn't go through last night.
@bertie: again, I am so sorry. Grieve. It will take a long time. I am not yet over with my own yet. Azoo is tough enough and then the immune etc. Sucks big time. Hugs. Stay strong.
@missalina: I hope the stick is wrong. Take care.

@fracesthecat: sorry to hear about your bub. That's just unfair. How comes ppl can just have healthy pregnancy the first go?! We jump through hoop and bad luck comes to us.

Hi @miissalina So sorry to hear that. It never gets easier to take. But glad to hear you are looking ahead at what else you can do. My FS at Genea is Dr Gee - I really recommend her. She advised me to see Dr M alongside her when the Bondi protocol didn't work for me (I had already made an appointment to see him but wasn't sure if I should tell her) She told me she sends lots of her patients to Dr M when she has run out of options for them (Genea will only do and prescribe so much) and I found it so much easier to have my FS work alongside Dr M and just be able to be up front about everything. She really just does want to get you pregnant & isn't an egotistical dr at all. So if you cycle with her she will look after your lining and embie transfer and then Dr M looks after all the immune meds side of things.

Hi all, neupogen question - when dr m says start a week before transfer, did you take 7 doses & the 8th dose was on transfer day? Or is dose 7 transfer day?

Miissalina I'm so very very sorry, thinking of you & sending loads of hugs xxx

Dear Miissalina I am so sorry to hear this news for you it is somehow I think a little more heartbreaking each time ... I would highly recommend Dr Marren at Genea he is doing his PhD in Killer Cells in pregnancy and while I was initially stressed when I talked to him about Dr M wanting to do IvIg when he was recommending Intralipids there was no ego at all ... he simply said - the aim here is to get you a baby ... we do what you think needs to be done ... he is supportive ... understands the issues ... and is trying to help build an evidence base for what many think is unsubstantiated in the FS world ...

Had my first visit to Genea on Friday after being at RPA - wow you pay for it but what a whole new world ... everyone gave us business cards with email addresses - even the scientist ... about to embark on PGD + Dr M's protocol ... throwing everything we've got at the last few chances ...

Has anyone else seen the counsellors at Genea Sydney? I found the one I saw quite instructive rather than guiding -

Wishing everyone some calm amongst the stress and exhaustion ...

@Janetb3 I saw one counsellor at Genea a couple of times, she was awful! I found her patronising and like you said, as if reading from a list of instructions rather than being genuine or engaging. I ended up seeing my own counsellor through a GP referral and only pay $7 a session out of pocket, Medicare cover the rest.

Thanks so much Legwarmer, I will start tomorrow then! Totally agree re the genea counsellors, so bad!!! Don't really use that service unless forced to with DE as it's pretty useless unfortunately
