    We were told it's almost double the cost to move around December.

    We just paid about $3000 to move 550kms. We saved roughly $2000 by packing the boxes ourselves.

    I've since gotten a quote for if we push out moving till Feb of around 14K for some packing, cartons etc For 2.5 containers & 4 cats with boarding.. Only problem is we decided to back out of the sale and now need to go with what's Packing to come and what's packing to storage.

    From SA to CQueensland 2k. We got a backload. It was basically are whole house minus a lounge! I can give you the contact if you like as he lives in Gympie actually so I'm sure he will travel to Melb etc for other stuff
