    Default Lit

    Hi Freakout44,
It was me and not Riata asking about LIT, with donor blood.
I was Under impression LIT was from husbands blood too but my dr in the referred it LIT but has be from unrelated donor and not from husband..it's illegal in USA but legal in Australia and that's LIT.

Wonder anyone else had this type LIT recommended?

Default High NK cells and possible DQ Alpha gene match

Hi @KirstyA he may be referring to IVIG which is plasma from multiple donors-I think intralipids are supposed to be as good, but IVIG is the next step if that's not showing results... @BB77 was a 100% match & was seeing GM if I recall correctly?

Yes I'm 100% match and I did lit as well as ivig (which I'm still doing monthly). I never did intralipids because dr m said I'd need more, so I assume ivig is stronger? I had my husbands blood for lit but I've heard of people using donor blood too, not sure why one is done over the other?

Sorry for the person mix up [MENTION=95784]kirstyAMENTION].

My specialist said that it works kind of like an immunisation - giving you a concentrated dose to get you used to it. But maybe if you get a donor with similar genetics that would also work. Would have thought your partner would be the best option though. Who knows. I just trust they know what they are doing and it worked for me.

    Default Alpha Match

I too have a 100% dq gene alpha match. Was diagnosed after my 6th MC by Dr M and did LIT treatment, dex, clexane, progynova, progesterone plus Intralipids. Got my BFP on New Years day, saw a strong HB at 6w5d and then my whole world crashed on Friday when I went for my 9week scan and no HB. Had D&C on Monday and have an appointment with Dr M on 4th March. Hoping for chromosonal issues because I really want this treatment to work.
    Anyone else have 100% match?

@Olive79 so sorry to hear of all your heartaches. I hope you find your answer to getting a take home Bub soon.

Have they had you doing intralipids throughout your pregnancies or just in the lead up?

Yes I was having intralipid. I had 2 before I found out it was over. I am hoping it was chromosonal as then I still have hope for the treatment.

Hi @BB77, would you mind sharing what protocol (including dose) finally got your BFP? Apologies if you've mentioned previously but would love it rehashed...

Also @freakedout44 found the protocol you said worked for you, was it 1mg Dex, 40mg clexane, Oripro pessaries (2 x 200mg daily?)...
