@skye76 - we did not have to do PGD testing, but I would have tried anything Dr Nick suggested.

I've also heard that he will now only do FET's as he is having better success with those.

That's what we loved about Nick - he is always moving forward and while it may not be the most convenient as a patient, if he can get you to your end goal it's worth it.

@freakedout44 We are based in Syd. The last cycle was with Ginea where we had 2 embies frozen.
M mentioned that I have markers indicated miscarriage if tested BFP cos partially DQ Alfa matched? He mentioned clexane, intrallipids and strong progesterone but not LIT may be down the track given we only seen him twice.

@Riaki I will ask for further tested on HLA Match as I cannot see on my blood test results but M mentioned 0505 and 0501 which I still figure out what that mean. I'll see him again in 5 weeks.

@Hopeful59 - I'm not sure if any other specialists offer LIT treatment -it is to combat the DQ Alpha match. Definitely ask about it. It's another expense unfortunately, and it's not pleasant, but I think it's worth it.

Apparently if it's a partial match, 50% embies will match you exactly, so likely you'll have to-I have only done LIT with NL, but GM does it too (and there are differences). You do it twice, four weeks apart & it's about $1200. It's meant to last 6 months. GM does a LAD test to see if LIT repeat is required but NL doesn't test for that...

    Default Lit

    Hi Riata.
You know LiT. I share match think 100% require LIT. Are you aware is it available from a donor?
I can't have my husbands blood. I thought Lit was from husbands blood.
Anyone heard that Lit can't be from husbands blood?
How long wait for Lit with Dr M?

Interesting thoughts why dr l recommended surrogacy to a lady.

@Riaki thanks so much for the info. I haven't heard of a LAD test. I'll look at booking in LIT treatment with NL & mention to him about the LAD test as I'm also a patient of GM

@Riaki - LIT is from your partners blood. It is designed to help your body adapt, recognise and accept that DNA, so it doesn't reject the embryo.
